oh question for merse ,i keep reading your post's on the other site ,if you dont like it why read it ?(not having a go just wondered) In the case of the kit, I was told yesterday of the negative comments that were peculiar to "another " site; I scanned that site this morning to see what was meant. I must say, I didn't hear any such negativity in and around the ground on Saturday nor is there such moaning for the sake of moaning on here. I make no secret of the fact I do look at both that site AND Gilbert's Blog although personally I think both are juvenile and of little merit as regards debate or of any eclectic value at all. I'm not complaining about what is on there merely passing comment........................is it that you believe we should only comment about what is already covered on here? Surely if that was the case we would never break out of the repetitive circle and certainly never enjoy the many varied and often off beat subjects that make this site unique. I never have been one for pretending something I don't like doesn't exist, do you? like i say was just asking a question ,thanks for answering. on your question ,no i do not pretend something i don't like does not exist ,i take the choice to either look at it or the other way. however thing i dont do regards something i dont like is moan publicly about it .

forevertufc I'm not referring to any other forum here, but do you really never moan in public about anything you don't like? I got bad service in the Noah's and was happy to say so out loud.
I don't like the NCP and will say so to anyone, I will never defend merse if I thought any post he made was done just to be an anti another forum, but I do feel what he said about the views elsewhere on the kit was just an observation.

You might not like the NCP, but you have to admit......... ........The sight of the balloon rising up high above Torre Abbey - and viewed from your seat at the carvery on Saturday was fantastic, wasn't it? !!!!!

forevertufc don't worry it all makes sense and I know what you mean, I never view it so I never know the views there. I have never made a secret of the views I do hold, but feel its best to keep them off this forum and just get on and run this one, always working to continue to improve it.

Have just emailed Vandanel to let them know us fans are not very effin happy with them, I would like to start a campaign to get clubs to stop using this farce of a company, I some how think though that clubs will ditch them in the future anyway after this!

I would also like to add my support to the new kit, having went off on one because I thought it was going to be all blue. Hope they try and wear this as much as possible for all away games as well.

Certainly prefer the colour to the outgoing kit - not sure about collar, or the 'orange' trim, but overall first impression is good. Errm.................there isn't a "collar" as far as I can see, do you mean "neck"? The "trim" (airtex paneling) is surely a reference to last season's successful kit and it's predominant colour. What about Bury's chocolate and light blue halves then? Very stylish and surely a "retro" reason for their change from the traditional white and royal blue?

I'd have thought the fact i mentioned the 'collar' would have made it easy to assume i meant lack of it. And i realise why the orange trim is there - i wasn't fond of the colour last season and i'm still not. I'm very satisfied with it as a complete package though, and it's the first home kit i've wanted to buy for a good 6 or 7 years.
And i don't think that just because something has a 'reason to be retro' makes it decent. I didn't like our own 'nod to a bygone era' in the last couple of years, but i agree the new Bury kit is nice.

Vandanel make inferior products slowly.
They will get what is coming to them.

Vandanel make inferior products slowly. They will get what is coming to them. Welcome to the forum iandeep, all the kits made and suppled by Vandanel have been poor quality in my view. I do remember Colin Lee I believe, saying a while back, that the new deal with Vandanel, was very lucrative for the club. That may be the case, but the club can't be happy with all these delays in getting the replica kits into the club shop. I do not know how many clubs use Vandanel, but surly they have a large factory to make all the gear in. Last season the new kit with City Link on it, was being worn by fans at the pre season games, we have played two games now and still no kits for the fans. I expect a few have gone to the club shop to collect their pre paid orders for the kits and have left disappointed and maybe even angry. I would think the club are letting Vandanel know what they think about the delays and one would hope if the club stick with Vandanel next season, they will get firm assurances this won't happen next season.

Thanks for your welcome Dave R
I can only assume that Vandy are struggling with credit crunchy matters, unless they are still researching why last year's model bobbled and snagged so badly, whilst Adidas were able to provide excellent quality shirts to other teams for the same price.
They really ought to reduce the price of the shirt by £1 for every competitive game missed. This would be a form of "TUFC quantitative easing", and act as an incentive to wake the darlings up!
£37.99 less 2.5% for the VAT reduction and counting down....?
