I think a glance at the OS this morning will underline the advantages of being kept waiting for something worthwhile when one looks at the cover of tomorrow's match day magazine. Just behind one of OUR players in his stylish and presentable all blue pre-season kit is some poor bugger in a green and white mish mash of such awfulness that it just had to be designed by Old Worzel Sturrock himself on the back of a f*g packet when he had a spare ten seconds.......................what an abomination of stripes, waves and the logo of some injurious to health fatty food comprised mainly of stodge and gristle ~ ughh!!!!!!! I can't envisage anyone walking down the Holloway Road in that

www.torquayunited.com/page/News/0,,10445~1746888,00.html So what are we thinking? I quite like it. Certainly prefer the colour to the outgoing kit - not sure about collar, or the 'orange' trim, but overall first impression is good.

I like the red patches on the arms. Can't work out why these nice pieces of coca cola branding weren't there the last couple of seasons - perhaps they clashed with the orange...

Usually the arm patches are associated with the league your in, ie we had BSP ones in the BSP and we now have Coca Cola ones in the League, simples!

*whispers* Sorry, I don't think I like that! Would have prefered more blue I think, and the shouldery-piping things look a bit daft. Still, they will all be running around the park so quickly tomorrow, no-one will notice! And why no blue shorts!!

Yeah and there`s no shoulder pads or sequines or at least some tassles dangling down from the nipple region, oh and maybe an open back! Should maybe also come with matching accessories and high heel shoes! No fair play if you don`t like it you don`t like it, I love it, it`s a great change and very refreshing but thats just my opinion!

I have to say I really like this kit, its clean and fresh and our players are going to look great wearing it. Not one to buy replica kits, so I won't be rushing to get this one,I will wear my old Sparkworld shirt from time to time(it was a gift). The bit I love the best is the badges that clearly show that TUFC are once again a football league club

what an abomination of stripes, waves and the logo of some injurious to health fatty food comprised mainly of stodge and gristle ~ ughh! Couldn't agree with that more. When I first saw that dreadful Aviva advert with the even more dreadful Paul Whitehouse, I thought it was just a mock-up kit they'd made especially for the commercial. I'll whisper it, but Argyle's Puma kits of the last few seasons are up there with my favourite of all time. So simple yet so beautiful. If Puma are looking to take the Torquay United contract from Vandanal, then I'll be more than delighted. Having said that, this is a pretty good effort and one of our better home kits of the last few years.

Have to say I really like it, much more modern and fresh looking than the last one!!. I will be getting one for my little boy, but will never buy anything for myself in the shop until the club start stocking female clothing too. It cant be too expensive to knock up a simple ladies t shirt or something can it?
