Sadly, it looks like their advertising some sort of beer! Which of course would be nice if we were being paid for it! The impression I get is that the 1899 thing is a Pro-direct initiative, meaning that Pro-direct have paid for the front of the shirts just like any sponsor would. This would explain why the club appears to be celebrating 120 years when other clubs have waited until their 125th anniversaries. Pro direct have not the desire to have their logo emblazoned across any football shirt, they have their ways of sponsorship & we should be truly grateful they're on board with us.
