Richards looks to be staying as well - showed some really good touches last season, could become an integral part of the 2016/17 team. Glad if he is on board.

So now we are:-
Keeper - Moore Defence - Gerring, MacDonald, Berry (until fit - Verma cover?) , LRT, Nico, McGinty Midfield - Young, Chaney, Hancox, Verma, Lathrope, Sparkes Strikers - Blissett, Williams
Richards is training with us and likely to sign. Harrad is holding out. Am I right in thinking that both LRT and McGinty are both left back that can cover for central defence? In which case are we looking at a first choice of:
Moore
Verma, Gerring, MacDonald, LRT
Chaney, Lathrope, Young, Sparkes
Blissett, Williams.
Not too bad but will need to use the loan market a lot.

I see from Twitter that Berry is kicking a ball again but full recovery not projected until January. Good luck with the rehab Durrell.

Moore Verma MacDonald McGinty Rowe-Turner Chaney Lathrope Young Sparkes Blissett Williams Subs: Gerring, Richards, Hancox, Duke It looks like a half decent line up. We do need more attacking options. Berry also in the wings but unlikely to feature this side of Christmas when we would be in a good position to sign him.

Starting 11 looks better than last season. Prefer Berry to Verma at right back and obviously Nathan Smith was quality for us. Hopefully McGinty and LRT will be the same.
More is needed, for sure, but I'm not holding my breath what with the rest of the off field saga at the moment. Has Iffy Allen managed to get himself another club yet? Oddly, I think the squad in its form now could do with him to make it look a bit stronger.

I was impressed with the Hirst and Butler full back combination we started with last season and i hope that the replacements will give us as much getting forward this season. Im probably being a bit negative but i certainly think we will miss Nathan Smith because i am not so sure that we will get the same reliability from Ben Gerring.
