I would see MacDonald and McGinty as our first choice centre back pairing.

Shame that Iffy Allen has rocked up at Aldershot and Vassell at Luton as both could have done a job and I think are quicker than Kaid. Still, I'm sure Nicho knows what he's doing.

More a case of limited funds I fear..... He was too quick to release Iffy Allen, imo. May have had no choice, but he was released without offer, as I recall. If he was holding out for Vassell, Vassell was always going to be more expensive, so unless player made it absolutely clear before being announced as released, (if so, why announce as released) this is one of Nico's first mistakes in the transfer/retain market for me.

I was thinking that Iffy would be a cheaper option than Vassell (rumour has it that we couldn't match Truro's wage) and would have fitted into the side well. He is quick and tricky and imo is what a winger should be.

I see Nicky Wroe has signed for......Bradford Park Avenue.
Still only 30, thought he'd at least sign for national League minimum.

Robba signing for a year. According to the Official Site he played in our 1-2 defeat against Tiverton - missed that one somewhere!? The Official Site is always so well informed!

Now looks like Gus is off - is this sale to recoup the loan from the morons in GI? Shades of Roberts selling of Ward perhaps. Now thinking we will be low table this season after initial optimism. Thanks Mr Phillips.

Thanks Mr Phillips. link - might be a league one club in which case will be hard to retain him. It will be difficult to 'replace him on a like for like basis....

All credit to Gus for signing a new contract with us - so enabling the Club to demand (hopefully!) a reasonable transfer fee.
Good luck to him - he as much as anyone helped keep us up last season.
It will be more than interesting to see what the Board do with this potential "windfall"!

Wish him the best and I suspect he signed because he knew it could bring some cash for TUFC. Hope it goes to Kev and not elsewhere...
