If Nicho can get these Loanees in and sign good talent on the promise of better things I really think that he could be one of our best managers ever. The Board seems to back him and if we do too, it could be good times again. Still with my glass half-full outlook, I expect a mid-table finish this year.

link - confirmation that MacDonald has gone! Thanks Angus for everything you have done for the club and your part in the great escape means you go out on a high and all the best for the future! Now how can we replace him??? Huth certainly impressed last night and although just one game, he would likely make a cracking signing. I understand a French player was initially lined up to trial last night but pulled out so maybe these things have a way of working out!

confirmation that MacDonald has gone! Is is correct that Thea gets 50% of all transfers? If so we could be 'out of pocket' on this sale. £100,000 transfer - £50,000 for Thea - £50,000 plus to pay back GI. Do we know the exact costs that have to be paid back to GI for the loan?

Come on Chelston - these sort of questions should not be asked - why on earth should the paying supporters be given any information by the Club. The Board of Directors are in charge and our "custodians" and always know best! (sarcasm of course intended!).
We were told that our benefactor (Thea) had given away the Club for free - not that it was a part of her future pension plan. What is the agreement, when (or if) does it end - or will she eventually make a profit on her investment!?
Meanwhile, "we" should just pay into the players fund without any information as to just what is going on. There seems to be no other "windfall" income coming into the Club (and, of course, "Yellowfest" still has to be paid for - how much was the loss? and who was the genius that authorised that!).
Is it really asking too much for the Board to keep the fans informed and to give us the truth about what the situation is and what is going on.

Forgot about the 35K for that pile of crap. Me, I'm going to 80's gold in Newton Abbot on Sunday to see Tony Hadley, Midge Ure, ABC and Bananarama - all for £25

Jamie Chamberlain signs - we are really desperate if this is the peak of ambition. Underwhelmed, depressed as looks like another struggle to avoid relegation based upon events so far. Has Robin S still got a pair of boots?? We will never see days like those again!

Josh Rees ends up at Chelmsford - seems a shame we could not accommodate him. Interesting to see Ronnie Moore as the new Eastliegh manager - that will raise their game. Still we've got Chamberlain I suppose!

I was impressed with Rees last season. Not a flamboyant player who's going to mesmerise you with his skill. but neat and tidy with a good engine (Bay Link would surely have sponsored him ). But it seems it's not only us, but no national league club wants to accomodate him so he's dropped a further level. So our thoughts instead can turn to Joe Ward. Nice to know that we don't have to go cap in hand begging to borrow a player, and that the Premier League side comes to us letting us know what's on offer. link- Another Throstle Spotted At PlainmoorCap'n Angus off to The Championship, Dan Butler in the Football League, Nathan Smith taking like a duck to water at League One level, Lavercombe snapped up by Wigan. Even in his short time as a Coach, King Kev's reputation for improving players is already appreciated at the top level. With improvement as good as guaranteed, those cheap season tickets seem like better value than ever.
