bitemebryn, can I please put to bed any ideas this has anything to do with building stands, as that Is way Off the mark, It will come out and as long as It Is both parts and not just one part(that I fear could happen) then fans will fully understand why the sponsorship has been stopped. Furry muff Dave, but it is something I've heard touted in a few conversations since the summer. Anyway about the youth set up...................... Nothing to do with the youth setup biteme and nothing I can put on the forum, It Is nothing I think anyone could ever guess, so sadly there Is no real point in trying ;D the important things to concentrate on are hoping the Youth setup continues and that the club suffers no harm over all Of this. Lets hope all can come out In the open soon, but I stress, all needs to come out and not just part Of It.

Isn't it something that can be just left alone if both parties want it that way?
Many of us wated to know about the Rayner situation (and to a lesser extent the Lee Phillips situation). Now we have replaced Rayner and the keeper position is sorted (hopefully - if Bevan's groin recovers in time for Saturday!!) and no-one is likely to see it as an issue for this current season. If both parties agree that it is best to terminate the relationship, then I guess that neither party will want to "do their washing in public" and just want to move-on?
As I say, it's a shame - the youth set-up was one thing that has always been a hugely positive thing (especially through the poor spell of results!). I cannot possibly see how the youth set-up will continue in the present form if there isn't funding to replace the sponsorship deal.
I would point-out also that IF (as some have said) it relates to a "non-board member", then surely that excludes CL, who as Chief Exec is surely on the board (and he is listed as a Director on the club site!)?!

Scott, glad that you got your post on mate, I think the club wish they had worded the statement better. As for Sean throwing his toys out Of the pram, that Is not the case.It is far more than two people falling out and when the full story comes out, you may just see some people In a different light and I don't mean Sean. In the Herald Express Seans statement, via his lawyer, states that he had a problem with AN employee of the club - hence the reason I have assumed that this is a falling out between Sean and one other. If this is not the case then I feel that the statement could have been worded better in this case. Scott, It has stated he has a problem with an employee, what It does not state Is what the problem Is. If I fell out with you then I could say I had a problem with you, but this Is not a case about personality's, Or having any dislikes. Maybe a problem because Of an action OR lack Of it and like I said Sean has not chucked his toys out Of the pram. He has very good reason to take this action and has done nothing wrong himself.

ohtobeatplainmoor, If you knew what was involved you would understand that this is something that can't just be left alone, how It gets sorted and what fallout aterwards Is anyones guess.
It Is not as simple as two people falling out, or having disagreements, I'm sure those involved wished that was all it was, Its not and there Is no easy fix.

I notice on the other site that the forum head has an avatar with Colin Lee crossed through and is stating that he wants Colin Lee out.

What ever my thoughts or views on anyone connected with the club, as someone who runs this forum, I will never start any out campaigns, not saying you can't ;D just I don't think its my place too.

I think we may have misunderstood each other - my point was in response to something you said earlier - that this was far more than just two people falling out.....my point was that Sean had stated in his statement that he had an issue with AN employee (hinting at just one person) Maybe I misunderstood what you were getting at with your statement...its been a loooooong day!!

Scott, It has been a long day ;D the problem Is only with one person and I think what has happened does not show the other person In a very good light, I would even go as far as to say, it makes him look a not so nice person, to do what has been done. The club can go some way to correcting the problem, but would need to take some action, do they have the ball's, well that Is the big question

In this case I'm glad that I know, just wish I could off load It, as I then could type more easily

To be fair though Dave, I would guess that you have only heard the story from one persons point of view. Lets not forget there are 2 sides to every story.
