To Crewe Not feeling too good at the moment. Twice unable to close a game out and at Barnet unable to finish off a shower of s**t. Should have got 9 from the last 3. Instead 1 point. Call it knee jerk if you want but we're either pushing for promotion or fighting relegation every bloody season and this one is fighting relegation.

You know I'd laugh if it wasn't so depressing. Whats even worse is that even if we got rid of Buckle now, theres no time to do anything about the state of the team, other than a shuffle of emergency loan players.

You can have Ferguson or Capello in charge but if you go from the start with "Silly Billy" Benyon up front, you can't expect to offer much threat to the opposition goal. I thought we had enough men on the bench who can play wide without the unavailable Carlisle to do without that other lightweight, Stevens too. Surely, O'Kane, Caryol or Halpin could offer more; but then that is my personal view gathered on the limited amount of times I been able to see the team this season. Just that whenever I see we are to start with Benyon AND Stevens together in the lineup I don't have any confidence in gaining a result. Zebroski offers so much more playing off Rendell up front and not filling in for our lightweight wingers.

You do have to wonder what he is thinking sometimes. Even in the "league below pub league" my team would identify weak points and avenues that we would seek to exploit usually during the warm up! I'm pretty sure it happens at this level although probably not in the warm up.
Maybe it could be called an "isum" but I would never start with those two (Benyon and Stevens) together in the side.

Just that whenever I see we are to start with Benyon AND Stevens together in the lineup I don't have any confidence in gaining a result. Zebroski offers so much more playing off Rendell up front and not filling in for our lightweight wingers. There you go Merse having a pop at Benyon again and you weren't even at the game . He in fact was one of the brighter sparks in the game today along with Charnock and Smith. Midfield was crap Danny having putting in abysmal first half lightweight and ineffective poor first touch everything he wasn't when he came on as sub last week. By the way Okane is just as light weight as Benyon and Caryol would have dazzled fir a few seconds lost the ball and then gone and hidden away no doubt. Its worrying times compounded by the fact that Bradford looked so awful in the first half. There I was clapping and cheering our goal thinking at last a team has come to plainmoor down in the dumps and playing poorly all we have to do now is work hard maybe get another and close the game out. That feeling only lasted another few minutes as I realised that we were just as poor and they would only need to raise their game just an iota to get a result. Boy was I right. Without doubt we are heading for the dogfight of our lives to try and stay in the football league and whatever the problems have been in trying to get players in time has finally caught up and the squad is visibly losing confidence. Maybe if this is the case we all may have to resign ourselves to being Non league. Buckles tried his best I'm sure with what resources are at his disposal but the quality just isnt there and I have my doubts it ever will be. Looks like we may have lost Rendell for a while somebody next to me reckons he broke his arm worked hard to little effect though and in all honesty we looked like a fair to middling BSP team just as we did last week. All and sundry will no doubt bring up the loss of Hargreaves and Sill s etc but our problems go much deeper than that Wroe laughably MOM today is a shadow of the player that walked off the Wembley pitch last May and its pretty key to our current problems with no real ball winners or grafters in the midfield slow to help the defence when they are back peddling and not good enough to hold and pass and get the forward in. Yes we had our chances to have wrapped it up but there were some glaring misses today which compounded our problems and we ultimately paid the price . AGAIN.

f**k**g shambles!
There you have it, must get rid of my anger at this moment.
We can't keep a clean sheet and we can't finish games off. Thus a relegation dogfight coming our way, 6 points clear from the BSP...

to be honest i am absolutely furious, bradford offered nothing for the first hour,we were worth our one goal lead, and should of added to it,against burton we went 2-0 up unconvincingly, but today bradford were so awful i thought another goal will finish this lot off. After 60 minutes or so bradford suddenly came to life, pumping ball after ball into our area, then the burton resemblance crept in,i just thought we are going to blow this, and sadly we did.I actually thought nobody really shone for us,we were much of a muchness, wroe mom?its so disappointing but become very torquayish i am afraid.Nobody wanted or could keep the ball in the final 30 minutes. Also this was the worst performance by poke i have seen,he was so undecided in his area.I could pick holes all day but dont see the point,we are in serious trouble in more than one area of play, and i worry that pb isnt the man to sort it out.One final thing, met some bradford fans before the game, nice folk, came down basically for a nice weekend they said with a definite 4-0 thrashing by us as they are such a very poor side,in their words, who havent a put decent performance in for months, sadly then along came us,3 easy points in the end for them, very worrying times ahead, still one bright light is guy branston,if the youngsters confidence is shot now,by the time he is finished with them they wont even want to play, gawd help us

We certainly didn't deserve to lose today but the bottom line is we are losing/dropping points against some very average sides. Buckle can bleat on all he likes about playing well, but that is the bottom line and we aren't ruthless enough.
We'll also come against much better sides than Barnet, Burton and Bradford in the coming weeks, so 1 point out of 9 is not good enough from the last 3 games.
We seriously need to sign some experienced pros over next 2 days as we can't rely on inexperienced kids to get us out of the mire.
I have no real complaints about the application and effort today, and as one of Benyon's harshest critics, I thought he played very well. Danny Stevens was the only player I thought was below par. None of it really matters though as we have lost yet another home game to a side we should be beating.
All in all it is very worrying.

Benyon got raped all match by their defence. Relegation is a nasty whisper growing stronger to a mumble. I don't wanna visit Forest Green or bloody Barrow again. Come on Buckle sort it out.
