No I don't, nor will you be able to provide a quote from me saying I do. Money will enable you to acquire better facilities, better equipment & better players. Few if any Clubs would turn that down as it is generally acknowledged that such things will give you a better chance of succeeding.
BBCgull will tell you that yesterdays Grand Prix was won by a team with a budget which is a fraction of some of their competitors, McLaren & Ferrari have the money to acquire the best designers, the best drivers, the best test facilities etc but neither of those teams won the race or have won a race all season. If that situation continues over a certain time scale then those providing the money for the best of everything will naturally enough ask why those entrusted with using those superior resources can't get results than match lesser funded teams.
I think we've spent money on assembling a lot of good players at Plainmoor who should be capable of achieving more than getting to the final day of the season still unsure of even a play off place but only if their skills & talents are used to the best effect not automatically because a lot of money was spent acquiring them.
Our big talented expensive squad will make us favourites with the bookies to overcome little Histon & rightly so. Thankfully it's not a nailed on certaintly & that's good for the sport.

Lets not forget that Honda (who are still largely funding Brawn) last season gave up the ghost with the 2008 car and focused almost solely in developing this years Brawn GP car. You would think that given the resources McClaren and Ferrari would've had little excuse not to fully study the rules and regulations with split level diffusers and wotnot in order to develop a competitive car for this season. Unlike Honda, they probably focused more on trying to win last years title. Lets not forget that almost immediately after the maiden Brawn 1-2 win in Melbourne that the very next day they announced they were cutting their workforce from 700 to 400. I have my doubts that if they don't attract major sponsorship soon they will struggle big time next year.
