If this pattern continues, then there will be another signing announced late afternoon, possibly one of Ash, Moxey and Tomlinson. Just a quick reminder that under FA Regulations, Section VI: Contractual Stability (clause C74): Upon receipt of a Re-engagement Offer, a Contract Player must accept or reject it by notifying the Club in writing within 28 days. A Contract Player who rejects a Re-engagement Offer, or fails to respond to a Re- engagement Offer within 28 days of receipt, is immediately free to enter into contract negotiations with another Club.So while it would be nice to get an early acceptance, all three players are entitled to sit and wait until the 28th June to see if their agent can get them a better gig elsewhere. Which is frustrating for us. That is presuming that the National League follows FA Regulations; and there is nothing thatI can see in its own Regulations to say that it doesn't.

link - another midfielder- welcome Roddy According to a pal of mine who supports Chesham (and Watford) he came back from a bad knee injury last season but is 'a good player'.

That’s two experienced midfielders with knee injuries but fit again and working their way back up and while an element of a gamble could really be a trump card for us.

It has been a frenetic week, the Bryn consortium only got the keys to Plainmoor eight days ago, out of administration, just in time for the National League AGM today and we already have signed up 8 new players in addition to the already under contract Booth. This is the reason why Wotton was appointed manager back on 14 May, so he was able to speak to the players at this critical period when options are being pursued for a new club and that initial hard work seems to have paid off although we are only half way there on numbers. Three offers to previous players and we await to see if Ash, Tomlinson and Moxey accept them, should know by the end of the month.
So presently have in the squad with players seemingly more flexible this year and able to play in more than one position and possibly 2 more defenders and a striker to be added.
GK: Hamon
Def: Foulston, Craske, Dreyer,
Midfield: Hasani, Collins, Threlkeld, Booth
Forward: Crosbie

link Ash has re-signed! Hopefully in an improved side he will have more opportunity and make a significant improvement on his tally of 14 goals which while not insignificant, was probably below expectations considering what he has done elsewhere.

Obviously one or two who can play more than one position. Some good business so far.

Some good business so far. I think so, not every season we sign 3 strikers that have scored 66 goals between them the previous season. Very quickly and suddenly we have a XI. Push Booth back into central defence and we have a 4-3-3. Nice mix of youth and experience with more to come.
