Only turned 21 earlier this year so still young but hopefully will get an extended run in the side as do not think we have seen the best of him yet. Under a familiar manager that may get the best out of him, could feel like a new signing.

Suspect one as we still hold a degree of control due to his age.

link - welcome to the club Oscar! Experienced midfielder with bags of league experience and of course that Argyle connection as Wotton builds the squad with players he directly knows of.

If this pattern continues, then there will be another signing announced late afternoon, possibly one of Ash, Moxey and Tomlinson.

Thought Archer had a cracking finish to the season I agree. He looked imaginative and skilful. But there's no doubt that he was a player who didn't interest Yeovil or Braintree and they are the standards to which we aspire. If you look down the list of released players, while there are some who wouldn't have wanted to stay, there are many who should have performed better for us than they did and being released reflects that. Any of them who follow Dillon De Silva (just signed for Sutton United) and play at a higher level than us have my respect and best wishes. However, I will be surprised if even half of them will be playing at National League or higher next season. Our squad was nowhere near good enough and a clear-out just confirms what most on this forum have been saying since 5th August 2023 if not earlier.

link - And another! Midfielder Sam Dreyer signs on a 2 years deal - his father was briefly on loan for us back in the 1980s.
