With a new manager about to be appointed, we can at last start to think about next season and the players we may have. As far as I am aware, there is only one player contracted and that is Booth. Suspect we need pretty much a wholesale clear out, but you don’t throw the baby away with a bathwater so, who would you keep?
Personally I would keep Archer, (lots of potential) Moxey (if still playing) and Tomlinson (will keep getting better as he learns his trade) and maybe Lapslie. Of the loans we had, would take Jenkins Davies if still available, a teenager that will be better this season for his time with us but suspect Jude Boyd will ply his trade higher up the pyramid although he has still to hear whether his contract will be extended at QPR.

I’d keep Ash, but think Jarvis will get a better offer.

All very much up in the air and we will likely be disadvantaged with the best of our current crop no doubt looking at offers and pastures new. Aaron Downes role along with other coaching staff will also have to be urgently reviewed and decisions made so expect further announcements pretty sharpish.
Would love to see Archer sign on the dotted and one or two others but suspect well be having a big rebuild job on our hands so imperative we get the manager in place asap and working presumably with Neil Warnock who will undoubtedly be able to attract some talent to the club. Warnocks background support, contacts and knowledge and his name alone is a huge asset and massive coup and raises the profile of the club which can only benefit TUFC and new manager.

I doubt that Wotton will be interested in keeping many of last season's players, in fact in my opinion the list will be very short, consisting perhaps of Lapslie, McGavin, Archer, Booth and perhaps Jarvis, who will need to take some persuading. You are right. I am hearing about six players that have been offered new contracts. That may include some of the youth players.

I imagine Neil Warnock will help us to bring in players and players on loan. He probably has as many contacts as anybody in the game. Chalk and cheese from recent seasons.

link- unfortunately Jarvis will not be part of the new side as he moves to pastures new. Unfortunate really as he could’ve really done a job for us, but would he have been value for money?

I don't wish to be overly-critical but I am hoping that Paul Wotton has someone better to replace Jarvis. 13 goals (excluding penalties) from 34 league starts in 2022/23 wasn't too bad but 4 goals (excl pens) from 18 league starts at a lower level last season really doesn't cut the proverbial mustard. We borrowed a full-back who scored more goals from open play in fewer starts than that!

Given our recent history of strikeres moving on and doing well at other clubs..no doubt he will score a bucket full of goals at a higher level. Good luck to him.

This is completely off topic, so forgive me, but it's hardly worth starting a new thread!
All of a sudden I am getting pop up ads on this site, which has not happened for many years. Someone instructed me how to get rid of them, and I'm sure that it did not involve paying any money. I'm not very keen on putting my bank details out there now.
If anyone can help, please bear in mind that I am a dunce when it comes to computer terminology, so it will need to be in the form of an idiot guide.
Many thanks.

Just to check, all anti virus software is up to date and your computer is regularly scanned? What browser do you use?

Is there anything else I should check? The pop ups only appear when I am not logged in, does that make sense?

No. I used to use it a few years ago but after a while its own pop ups started to appear so I cancelled it. There are currently a lot of adverse comments on the internet that it stopped working in mid-April. Do you use it, and how have you found it? Do you know anything about the Proboards one (see the link at the bottom of the page)?
