Any news on Martin after he was taken out at Buckland? - interesting take on our left wing back problem and possible signings in the off the line blog. |

Looks like we had a lucky escape in not signing Tony Lee. He has been suspended by Poole Town following "unspecified allegations". Somebody on BTPIR has suggested what that allegation is but I won't repeat it here in case it is untrue.

Any names mentioned as to who it may be? Where did he play? |

This bloke keeps turning up every pre season along with his brothers Trialist B and trialist C .... Any names mentioned as to who it may be? Where did he play? Hang on, Mr & Mrs Trialist are very proud of their sons. There's a whole massive family of em - they seem to be everywhere these days all related to a bloke I played with once or twice called A.N Other.. |

Trialist A was Ben Wyatt recently released by Sutton United. He played 16 games in League 2 last season.

Quality competition for each position is essential and I reckon GJ has been concentrating on and Ben looks to be just the right age and experience for us and a solid left sided player.
Good solid signing and may get the nod over Dan Martin, who I also rate after missing most of pre season.
Squad looking good and complete now with options left in the loan market.
Lets hope our new squad will gell quickly and fulfill the promise.

Gabby Rogers leaves club for Kidderminster Harriers.
A predictable outcome after last season poor start and going out on loan as GJ looked for answers.
That's O'Connell, Lolos, Holman and now Rogers, all forwards and who were hailed as saviour signings before a ball was kicked in anger last season.
Surely there has to be a better success ratio this time ?
