An extra striker at last - seven months too late!
Even now we need all six, excluding Koszela, fit in order to have two attacking options on the bench. I would like to have three.
Nouble has not played for four months so will take some time to get up to full speed. He should just about be fully fit for the Wrexham game.
If not ready to start, he at least gives you something different to shake the game up in the last twenty minutes.
I think of John Gayle who played a big part in staying up in the Barnet year with a few goals and assists. A bloke near me on the Pop used to shout “public house footballer!” whenever he came on.
I expect there are still fitness doubts over Collins. Deemed fit enough to hobble around for fifteen minutes after pulling up lame against Wealdstone, but then missed the next game. Strange that. Who would have thunk it?

My thoughts exactly Jon re John Gayle. Despite his obvious lack of fitness did provide a destraction a little physicallity and knowhow . Hopefully Nouble can have a similar effect and create space for others. My thoughts though is that we are still majorly deficient in other areas and likely to concede easily as we have done all season. One GJ quote in interview this week that really peed me off was that he feels it important to entertain. Well Garry the priority was to get results any way you can NOT entertain when your deep in the shit as we are. That mindset has cost us many points this season and will highly likely cost us our place in this division.
