On paper, we seem to have brought in a few decent players recently, but should any of them be in tomorrow’s team I will despair! Like others before them they will look around and say ‘what the bloody hell is this game about…get me the fu[k out of this club!’

I do like the bit where it says: Tope has made 19 appearances this season and has already scored 3 goals! 😯
Still, we also have another defender and although we can never get out of our present predicament by losing, we might just get out of it with 0:0 score lines.

Six players remaining from last season, half the players who have, or will have, appeared in League matches on loan. Despite the efforts of Gary Johnson to keep the club at a reasonable level, is there really any point in this constant papering over the cracks? The club which some of us knew in the 1950s and 60s, and for limited periods since, is gone for good. Very sad.

link - Tomlinson out on loan to recent opponents Taunton town, they are just one league down, so meaningful experience for him with the Club seeing him as one for the future.

link - LewiscCollins signs as Johnston continues to strengthen Much needed for the run in. If Jarvs were injured etc it could potentially kill our chances. Not sure where the other forward loans are though but essential we have a players who can come in and make an immediate impact. Hope that's the case with this lad . Definitely looking a stronger looking squad of late than we were before Xmas and together with an upturn in form things are not looking quite as bleak though Saturday will be the biggest test we've had for quite a while. No pressure on us whatsoever and NC will expect to roll us over with ease. |

I'm specifically thinking of James Crole, only because he hasn't appeared in a league squad recently and it looks as if Fadahunsi and Collins have taken his spot in the pecking order...

All guess work as per usual. My guess Crole would have returned as hes not featured and was only a short term loan. Aguiar no idea injured perhaps. Hall no idea injured perhaps.
