link - Looks like we got a decent wedge for Lewis plus add ons which may give Johnson bit more scope to try his hand elsewhere….. That striker at Poole who is under contract for instance…..

link - focus on Olaf who is hoping to be in and around the first team this year and not get sent out on loan. Think just him and Hall are the remaining champions of 3 years ago. COVID won’t have helped his progress but nice to see him scoring goals elsewhere.

Looks like a make or break season for Olaf. Hope he makes his mark and scores goals.

“We have got a few lads in our pre-season programme that are new faces” A few…. A while back i checked on other NLclubs squad sizes compared to ours and was surprised that one or two had thirty odd players on their books last season. I would like to think we will priorities quality over quantity but surely we need at least eight before the season kicks off and to boost the ranks. While i fully understand GJ'reasons for holding back on who may be signing it does deprive supporters of the usual banter and pre season speculation that keeps people interested in the summer months. I expect another one day hit of names and supporter panic as none of us recognise a single one as we all scramble to google names and search for video footage on YouTube 🙄. Another fortnight until the day of revelations🤪 lets all hope we have a few marquee plates still spinning.

I want to take you all back in time…so far back that it might be difficult for some of you to remember all that way.
In our late teens/early twenties we would be on the lookout for the perfect woman, and when we found her (until the next one of course) we wanted to let the world know of our Joy. So after a quick kiss and cuddle in the back seat of the motor with the woman of our dreams, we would race down the pub and stick our finger under our best mates nose…letting the world know of our recent conquest, like Hillary and Tenzing after climbing Everest! Sometimes though, not all went to plan and your mate would look at you with a wry smile and say…‘I’ve ‘ad ‘er!’
Should you have managed to pick up some old Battle-axe though, you tend to keep that fact to yourself.
Which is very similar to our present situation. If like other clubs you’re signing top notch players (most of them ours) then you want to let the world know about it. If on the other hand you’ve signed Asterix the Gaul…

We can start looking forward to football again and should find out some of the signings soon as contracts for last year end on Thursday and those spinning plates will either be caught or dropped. Players report for training on that day with contracts commencing on Friday. Buckland is the following Friday and will be the first opportunity for fans to see the new players.

There are many mysteries in this world, beginning with, why did our mothers always tell us to scrub behind our ears…I mean who the hell ever looked behind our ears!
Does a bat shit when it’s hanging up-side down? If so, I’m sure some of it will fall on its head, then it’s going to have to scrub behind its ears!
What do all these teams have in common? Seen at the bottom of Jon’s posts…I’m totally mystified?
Now we have the wall of silence from Plainmoor, and whilst other clubs fans are speculating about walking into a glorious sunset, or like ourselves, running away from the storm clouds, all we get is…well, nothing!
Then again, a lot of the actions of TUFC have been a mystery for a long time. 🤷
