So is it just me that’s brainwashed, brain dead and beyond redemption? 🤪 No, there are millions of others. The talk of locking up political opponents is something he has done before. It is something you’d rather not hear coming out of a democratic vote and more akin to despots. That many whoop and cheer at it, or brush it under the carpet as the words of ‘a human who makes mistakes’, isn’t the best of developments in western democracy. Hopefully it - and him - will have had it’s day soon. Time is few (I bloody hope so anyway) when millions of people will be sat watching the tele with their mouths wide open in amazement...not me though, I shall be down the track taking pictures with my new canon 50mm wide angle lens...and a canon camera of course! 📸 |

Not this time I'm afraid. The American people, to all intents and purposes, have already made their choice. Some choice! On the one hand, you have a deluded and self centred moron, liar and racist, whose only strategy is to attack and insult anyone who disagrees with him. He has no economic policies and answers every question with divisive and partisan nonsense. Today, when asked what he would have done differently to save 220 thousand people who have died from the virus, he said "Not much". On the other hand, you have a man who cares about his people with empathy, decency and humanity. Character matters so much in leaders. Never mind boring, which he certainly is not if you would take the trouble to listen to him. His policies at the last "debate" were as clear as day when he was able to speak without mindless interruptions. His political philosophies may not be everyone's cup of tea, but at least he has some. Some choice! Even a five year old child would listen to the current incumbent and be unable to believe what was coming out of his mouth. I hope that his departure from the White House will be covered on TV, I shall be smiling at his final humiliation. |

We all know that politicians all around the world avoid giving truthful answers, or even exaggerate or deflect. Trump is a master of deliberately lying in an attempt to strengthen his own position. He says that the corner has been turned and the virus is disappearing, when yesterday saw 800 thousand new cases and over a thousand deaths. "We have handled it well"! He also says that anyone who votes for Biden will be voting for a communist. His supporters blindly believe all these lies, what does that say about them? They must be the most stupid group of people in the history of mankind. Actually, though, probably not quite as stupid as the German people in the 1930s, although they had no choice but to accede to Hitler's will or be interred or even shot. At least things haven't reached that stage just yet. |

Poor old Donald, now he’s being compared to Hitler! If Hitler hadn’t been mad, and kept overriding his Generals there could have been a completely different outcome. The state this country is in at the moment, it might not have been such a bad thing, indeed, if Vlad the Impaler was in charge of this country, could it be any worse?
You seem to think I am a supporter of Trump, when I have already explained, that I think anyone who has an interest in Politics should have their Frontal Lobotomy reversed...can they do that? The only reason I like Trump, is because he’s a character, he’s interesting, he’s funny...Biden and all the rest bore the pants off me.
Do you think the outcome of this election (or indeed any election) is going to affect either of us...well let me tell you...no!
It will be the same old same old, we’ll be told to stand in line and that’s what we’ll do, just as we’ve always done, and we’ll be fortunate if we receive the drippings from a Proboscis Monkey’s nose!

We all forget things when we get older, but this is a biggie, and indeed, if that clip had come out a week earlier, I believe that Donald would have won by an even greater margin! Register My bigger concern is that this election will signal that the old system of electing Governments or resolving any major issue via the ballot box as we’ve been used to in the West, is no longer viable. Whether it be the Brexit vote or this US election, the days in which the vast majority of Society would accept the outcome, are over for good. This Presidential contest could prove such an electoral system is a broken model incompatible with 21st century attitudes to losing. Who can tell what’s happening in the US, and there’s time for more surprises yet. So here’s my prediction: Trump will win by a reasonable margin. The big tech companies and big media will have agreed in advance not to declare Trump the winner. Over the following days or weeks, lots of postal ballots in favour of Creepy Joe will suddenly appear and start pouring in, the veracity of which will be very questionable. Then there’ll be talk of legal challenges, dodgy procedures, etc, and the efforts to overturn the result will out-do even what we saw post our Brexit referendum. On top of that, it’s already becoming clear that should Creepy Joe win, there’s now so much evidence mounting up, connected with dodgy financial sweeteners from the Chinese and Ukrainians, that Joe would face an impeachment hearing straight away. Reg suggests ' if that clip had come out a week earlier’ …. and maybe he’s right. But I’m inclined to believe that Creepy Joe’s physical and mental frailties have been evident for sufficient time for US voters to realise that his role is little more than as a trojan horse by which to deliver a President Harris to them via the back door. So our Presidential race correspondent may not be able to stand down after 3rd November after all    |

If only people had accepted the result of the 1975 referendum on our membership of the EEC (67% in favour of continued membership) then we could have avoided all this Bollocks over brexit.
