That's an interesting theory, that the system of electing governments, or presidents, based on voting by the people is no longer viable. Let's do away with that obsolete procedure. Instead, let's change it to a count based on the number of lies the candidates can think up? That would make the outcome pretty clear, wouldn't it?

An interesting take by AJ, and, of course, we know this is something Trump has been teeing up for some time in the event that he loses. It is a worrying development. As if someone as eminently reasonable as AJ thinking it should herald the end of free elections is not cause for concern in itself!

As previously mentioned, I have absolutely no interest in politics, but after seeing that speech from Trump-Bush (I put that, just in case Sleepy Joe looks at this site) I might be tempted to look more often!
That wasn’t a rally, it was like being in a pub with your mates, lots of jokes (including ones aimed at himself) lots of laughter, lots of Down With Big Brother and lots of twatting Covid in the face...Brilliant! 💋
And what of Sleepy Joe? Has anyone actually seen him at a rally, has anyone actually seen him in the daytime...I’m beginning to think he’s a Vampire! 🤔

Mind you, whose to say this isn't a smart move by Creepy Joe's campaign team.... keep him shut in the basement, but let him out once a fortnight, and if people can't work out from Joe's speech whether what he's advocating is good or bad, maybe he'll hold steady with his opinion poll lead ? If big media can keep suppressing the Ukraine corruption story, the Chinese influence, and the FBI investigation until after Tuesday, might it be enough to get their man over the line ? The excitement mounts  |

I don't know why the two of you hold such right wing views, because I don't know you, or why you continue to speak out in support of such an obnoxious individual.
What I do know is that Trump is desperately clinging to power, which is all that matters to him, by telling outrageous lies about his opponent's character and political views and intentions, not to mention his dismal failure to deal with the pandemic and his current attempts to corrupt the election process.
I have found it extremely difficult to restrain myself from biting back against your comments, and have failed in that respect, however I shall not be saying anything more about this matter until the day when Trump is forced to drag his sorry ass out of the White House. I might even put up a couple of songs to celebrate that.

Rather him than the orange cretin finding humour in a disease that not only is he jealous of as it gets more headlines than him, but that has killed over a quarter of a million of his fellow countrymen.
If you could have an identikit for a dreadful leader on the international stage it would be the ‘stable genius’ narcissist that only a narcissist abroad could like or admire.
It is looking like he will be losing this time. He will be as ingracious in defeat as he was in his victory. The rest of the world can then breathe a huge sigh of relief at the beginning of the death of populism by idiots and for idiots. For the time being, anyway.
We over here will obviously be paying for our flirtation with it from 2017 for many years to come for other reasons, of course.
