Trump's doctor now states that he is now free of symptoms for the past 24 hours. From what we have been told by independent experts, nobody recovers that quickly. Either he never contracted the virus at all, and was trying to prove what a macho guy he is, or he still has it and is risking the lives of all the White House staff. The medical staff surrounding him seem to be willing to say whatever he tells them.
The events of the past few days have reinforced my view that Trump doesn't care how many people he infects, how many have already died and how many have lost their jobs and cannot afford their rent or food, as long as he is re-elected. His removal of his mask outside the White House last night should always be a true symbol of the kind of person he is.

His removal of mask to announce ‘don’t let it dominate you’ is a typical crass narcissistic response you’d expect from the dangerous man currently presiding over a country where 211,000 have died of the virus. And still he won’t isolate as White House staffer after White House staffer tests positive. Catching it was a ‘blessing from God’. What a despicable human being. The online right won’t care, though. Any old bullshit is lapped up time and again by them. |

I may watch a bit of the Vice Presidential debate in a bit. Can’t be as bad as the Presidential one the other week. Both candidates are being further tested immediately before the debate in Utah given the coronavirus hotspot that the Trump/Pence White House has now become.

Sorry Stewart, I got a little confused there, when you said...doesn’t care how many people he infects...I thought you were talking about one of the many thousands of students that are on the piss every night spreading the virus like there is no tomorrow. Trump is now saying, at his maskless rallies, that the Democratic governor of Michigan, together with the Bidens and Hilary Clinton, should be locked up, and that all Democratic voters should "watch their step" when going to cast their ballots. It really does make you wonder what his supporters have between their ears! They must be brainwashed, or perhaps even brain dead, beyond redemption. |

As I have mentioned before, Trumps politics don’t interest me, indeed, if anyone is interested in politics then they really are all three of the above!
I like him because he’s human...he makes mistakes, and he is not one of the aforementioned grey line of cardboard cutouts!

It is something you’d rather not hear coming out of a democratic vote and more akin to despots. That many whoop and cheer at it, or brush it under the carpet as the words of ‘a human who makes mistakes’, isn’t the best of developments in western democracy. Hopefully it - and him - will have had it’s day soon. |
