You beat me by about 3 years on the supporting side. I did though, spend about half of that time out of the country. I do get slightly envious when people say what great times TUFC went through when I was permanently out of the country...now look what's happening when I'm permanently back in the country! Didn't bay52 say he was going to Loo? We all know how bad his spelling is ( ) and he might have meant he was going to the Loo...
On the subject of eye-to-eye, I will steer clear of emotive subjects in future, except for Brexit of course, but that won't affect you, unless of course you believe that golfer president of yours! Actually Brexit is of great interest to me. So much so I have just registered back on the electoral roll so I can vote. Like you I have spent about half of my adult life outside UK and I fell off the electoral roll around 2004. I'm going to vote 'remain', purely because at some stage we intend to move to Spain and I want to have access to free healthcare, instead of continuing to have to pay outrageous amounts similar to those that I do now. If I lived in England I would vote 'leave', as we Brits are a very resilient nation, who have always been able to overcome any adverse situation, with a minimum of fuss. Cameron is a knob to imply that we will fall apart if we leave Europe; talk about having no faith in the very people that put you in power. 'Shooting' and 'foot' come to mind. Well, at least we agree on something, the people that live in England have to get out of this Basket Case of a European Union! The best, and indeed only good reason I have heard for staying is, if all our laws come direct from The Third Reich Germany, then why do we need English politicians? Get rid of the bloody lot! Save ourselves a bloody fortune! They can all go back to Eton and continue to perform sex acts on animals...a pig wasn't it?

bay52 Very profound bay52. And further proof that in your case, with great age has come great wisdom. Plus it's much classier than the old 'Yesterday’s news is tomorrow’s fish-and-chip paper' line. I've nothing that compares, although having surveyed the forums over the past few weeks I'd say this one is about 85% accurate: 'Today's TUST member is June 23rds Remainiac'

yesterday's news is today's history. The future is not as good as it used to be.

I haven't seen any confirmation of thea Bristow (or free Bristol as your spellchecker once put it) coming back.
