I only go there when I'm feeling a bit flush!

Having had a nice Sabbatical, I have returned to the fold (collective sigh). Giving AJ time to get over his girly tantrum (he might be a girl though, which of course would mean it was allowed).

The site has now been graced with the posts of 'bay52', so well worth the return!

I can't remember having a tantrum (girly or otherwise) or even a fake tantrum, but I was a little more on edge than usual early in the new year when I felt that the NOB's (Nicholson Out Brigade) might be on the verge of getting their way. What I do remember, is urging the Mods to do everything they could to return both Florida and yourself to the fold.

I'm delighted to see you both back, as TFF was all the poorer during your absence.

Does that equate to the rest of us being sh*te?

For what it's worth, my take on this protracted takeover. Nobody on any of the sites has a clue how this takeover bid is going to pan out, and that includes bay52. Of course, in times like this we always conjure up the worst scenarios imaginable, nature of the beast sadly. GI have a perfect right to remain stum during this process. Where I think they fall down on all this is the fact that it's a football club (some might dispute the word football) they are acquiring, for the first time seemingly. They have to interact with the fans, a thing which has been missing for many moons at TUFC, and they have to start pretty damn quickly. Because of the uncertainty few people are taking up the excellent ST offer, Nico's hands tied because he hasn't got a clue what's happening ~ people on another site will say that has been the case since day one! It's been said that the person in charge of this take over doesn't do social media...I hope it's him anyway. I don't go near twitter or Facebook, but every man and his dog looks at the web...if only for the porn sites! So don't tell me that a businessman who is buying TUFC doesn't have a look on these sites (I mean TUFC sites) to judge reaction. If a man says he doesn't look at social media, he's telling porkies. Not as many porkies as call me Dave (goodness, what type of glue is Cameron sniffing to come up with this Bremain nonsense every day), and nowhere near as many porkies down right lies as the abhorrent Tony Blair!
