Which bands would you like to see reform, especially now we have Take That etc.
Dave obviously would like ELO. Jeff Lynn, Beverley Bevan, Violinski? plus others. Like them also but would it be the same?
If they did reform it would be Out of the Blue!! Now Don't Bring Me Down for suggesting this but I'm not an Evil woman, even though Merse would like to Turn me to Stone. It would certainly be some Strange Magic and some Blue Sky when we all meet in Xanadu.
I wish I was a Wild West Hero whilst Rolling over with Beethoven. would this be a New World Record?
sorry!! ;D

Well the band I would love to see reformed would mean having to dig two of them up. The one and only Beatles, what a band what songs and what a time to grow up in as a kid, with such great sounds around.

Unfortunately, it's the 2 most talented that are dead. i was born too late but still love everything they did. Still remember where I was exactly when I heard about John Lennon. i was sat on a bus in Paignton bus station. Still can't believe it

Well I would agree about Johns talent, but do feel that Paul had just as much talent, then maybe George followed by Ringo. The kids song at the time and just right for Xmas was. We four Beatles of Liverpool are Paul in a taxi John in a car George on his scooter blowing is hooter followed by Ringo Star

Simply one of the most underated bands ever, Mansun.... i nearly got killed by a flying amp from them in the Lemon Grove Exeter uni once.. just stunning....
I do chat with Paul Draper now and again on Facebook, although im not a big fan of the site. I did open a group called Reform Mansun a while ago to which ex band members Paul Draper and Andie Rathbone quickly joined..which is a bit ironic really!
Attack Of The Grey Lantern is still one of the greatest albums of all time.
Suede were one of my faves too they must reform.... The Tears 'Brett & Bernard' is no patch on The Suede version...
My band will never reform lmao.. well only if the drummer is six foot under!!!!

Sorry Guys, but bands reforming are at best a pale immitation of their former selves. Can anyone actually think of a re-union that has improved on the original?
Floyd at Live 8 (with the sadly departed Rick Wright) and last year's Zeppelin concert were memorable but only for reproducing past classics.
I do agree with Brett though - Suede were wonderful and I would pay good money to see them again.

Indeed the Suede Debut album was the big album before the break of Britpop - hate that term - and is stunning and very dark....
Dog Man Star the difficult 2nd album Wild Ones and The Next Life stand out
But Coming up was huge still in my Top 5 of all time

Struggling to think of a band I'd really want to see reform. It always seems a bit hollow when groups reform ... especially with their older stuff never quite capturing the imagination like it once did. Maybe this is just as much about the music scene at a particular time.
The one band I'd wished I'd seen was Nirvana.

I'll bow to your greater knowledge - having never listened to the album. However, I've got to say that LITTLE KIX - with the classics FOOL, I CAN ONLY DISAPPOINT U and ELECTRIC MAN is a fantastic album - not 1 bad track on it in my opinion. I sadly missed the opportunity to see them live............but IF they EVER reform, I'll come and see them with you Brett!!

That's a Deal Kev!!!
Gotta agree about Little Kix Electic Man and I Can Only Disappoint U alongside Foll and Soundtrack 4 2 Lovers stunning....
the 2nd album Six was good but darker and a bit all over the place....Negative Six and Legacy standing out....
Anyoned wanting to access Mansun i would guide you to Legacy - Best Of by Mansun
any bands with titles like...
Take It easy Chicken An Open Letter To The Lyrical Trainspotter
gets my vote....(the lyrics arent supposed to mean that much....!!!)

I wasn't going to say it, but as Dave is bringing back the dead to reform The Beatles, I'll throw Nirvana into the ring.
I'd give anything to go back to when they were in their prime and see them live.
