According to dotcom there is a press conference tomorrow at 11am.
Any ideas?

Poke signing permanently?

If it is that, I imagine that it will be a recommencing of the loan deal until January 1 with 'a view to a permanent deal'.

Bevan will return to Shrews immediately and Poke is going back to Soton, Sills is made #1 and Ricey comes back to training as Elliot's strike partner.

doesn't this have to wait for Jan 1st? The loan has been uninterrupted, he's been back for treatment and has always trained with The Saints for part of the week anyway. Assuming a deal has been done, means really that the one that the manager always wanted to do but probably fell victim to a difference in wage expectation, has now reached conclusion; although contractually would have to wait until January1st. There is the small matter of having him able to play for us in the FA Cup before then and if the deal has been agreed then I would expect Southampton to agree to him being able to play in the second round for us..........................tomorrow will tell. |

Doesn't sound good. PB has just said that something has put a dampener on the week and all we be revealed to press tomorrow. Board member pulling out...transfer request by key player....got to be cash related.
