Something on Sillsy's T-shirt, apparently? Well did anyone see what it said? Sean was going to the game tonight, don't think its about him pulling out of the shirt deal as that was only for one season, If it was ill health, why a press conference? surly that would have been only a story in the local paper. I guess we will just have to wait and see, but can someone put it up on the forum, when they know, as I will not be able to hear it on the radio,(won't be local) but will use a customers PC to check on here. |

See Todd thread I put back at the top. He had keyhole surgery to his groin, by the way.

I have had a friend with links to the club get in touch with me and told me why this press conference is happening- I can't say any more than that - it wouldn't be respectful and it isn't right for me to do so - some of the exact details were not clear, but it is not good news.
It isn't anything of a financial nature as I had wildly speculated (the phrase "assume" makes an "ass" of "u" and "me" comes to mind).

Coukld it be something to do woith someone's health? The reason I ask is CH's captains blog stardate monday 15th: After listening to his inspirational and motivating words I jumped in my car to drive home. I made a quick phone call before I set off and bang..... the words I am now struggling to find are about that conversation with a Friend. I can't talk about it but what I can say is that in my life and probably many others we worry about jobs, contracts and money, we get stressed out with the kids or argue about bills. The thing that we take for granted is our health and our families and to get home and hug mine and tell them that I love them couldn't come soon enough[glow=yellow,2,300]Does that make sense? Good morning friends, can I please ask that no posts are made on this thread, until after todays press conference. The news is very sad news I'm afraid and as a mark of respect, I feel that it is best that posts just speculating what is going on, will serve no purpose.

Todays HE makes reference to the Press Conference and in particular "they will make an announcement about the future of their popular Welsh defender, who has been out for more than two months following surgery on a groin injury".
Doesn't sound good.
