Not including Bodin in training sessions and seemingly blaming Bodin senior for pushing him out of swindon. Hope this transfer can be sorted today, otherwise, I can see it going tits up!

Official site says he is on his way. Great news. Squad is looking strong. Required now is one experienced and commanding centre half and the picture will be complete!

Should be a great investment for the club. Billy has the potential to make himself into another of Lingys folk heroes for us. And thank you to the board for sanctioning it and supporting the manager.

Great news, sound investment for the future, well done to all involved in bringing Billy to the Club. Rene & Billy got a nice "ring" about it!! Well done JJ, started the thread on 30th October and Ling has finally got his man. Really happy with this signing as he fits in well with the formation that we play. Has a good shot in him and remember in one of his early games for us cutting in from the right wing and shooting from the edge of the area right into the bottom corner of the goal! Last appearance for us was scoring at Home Park! With only one striker up front in my mind the wide men should be looking to score 20+ goals in a season and he does offer a more potent goal threat than Morris. Bearing in mind that Billy was still 19 when he played for us, roughly the same age as Eunan when he joined us, then I think there is a good chance that he will develop into a much better player. Good for Billy as well as he should now be getting regular competitive football under a manager he has known for a long time.

Signing now confirmed, something that hasn't really happened this summer. Nice picture of Lingy with BB beside him and BB behind him! www.torquayunited.com/page/News/0,,10445~2825031,00.html

As to Ling and Bodin, iv'e never seen such a pair of sour faces on a photo shoot! Ling looks to be saying-£70.000, what have I done...Bodin seems to be saying-I wish I was training in Italy!

Swindon do have ambition, I agree but tying to move up the leagues to fast well I will just wait and see. There alot of big (bigger than Swindon) in FL1, getting to big for there boots comes to mind or winkle pickers like De Can He Go (yes he can in Billies case) wears the mad I Tie.Could they end up in debt (lots of it) could they struggle in FL1 yep they are gambling on success and you can count the teams over the last 10 years or so that have done that and look wear (Argyle) its got them.No Billy has made I think a good move to a good club well suited for him to learn, develop, help the club and possible progress to where ever whenever.

www.thisissouthdevon.co.uk/story-16559672-detail/story.htmlShit, seems one of the big boys were after our Billy! Good on him, he wouldn't have got anywhere near their first team for yonks. He obviously wants to play first team football, and in a couple of years time when he's a fantastic player Swansea can have him for a shit-load of money! No, wait a minute it's us...

Interesting article in the HE regarding Billy Bodin:
"Torquay United's £70,000 close-season signing of forward Billy Bodin from Swindon Town was only made possible by a £50,000 gift - from a mystery Gulls fan"
What happened to the £300,000 from the sale of the 'keeper (two installments etc I know) and £80,000 from the sale of the People's Champion?

Seemingly, it was a gift of £50.000 from a woman...shit, why do I never meet women like that! ;D
