Interesting read on Swindons main site from Di Canio after todays defeat. Transfers are mentioned and he says that someone like Bodin could be brought back as he is a good player and with right training become a useful player for them.
Sorry for some reason the link to this is not working.

Sorry for some reason the link to this is not working. Not sure if the mad man is playing mind games/try to up the anti - I believe he also has 4 other players out on loan - no mention of them.

I see that Di Canio wants to sign Ronan Murray on loan for the rest of the season almost mirroring our desire for Bodin to return here. Whether the two end up bring connected only time will tell...
I suspect Ronan has improved in the past year but is he that much better than Bodin? In our formation, Billy certainly fits in to our side well.

I see BB wasn`t even on the bench for the Barnet game. must be way down the pecking order. At that age you need pitch time, no good being part of a club on the up (for the moment at least) if you are playing for "the stiffs"in front of smaller crowds than plainmoor. Come on Billy you know it makes sense, cut your ties with the spaghetti western and head for the hills of Torquay

To be fair (and I made this very same mistake at the weekend ;D), Bodin played in the JPT for us against Cheltenham back at the beginning of September and would have been cup tied. We will know more come their game this weekend but with Di Canio stating today that he is looking for a striker, winger, midfielder (Rooney?) and another centre back (to replace Comazzi released today!) then opportunities for Bodin are hardly good as he is unable to seemingly get into their side even before these possible new arrivals! My gut feeling is that he will come but not until the end of the transfer window.

Well, Ling has spelt out the situation quite clearly on dot com. He is going to give Di Canio the whole of January to work out whether Bodin is surplus to requirements or needed there. (Oxford have turned down an offer from Swindon for Constable today - not too imaginative targeting your local rival's top striker and Captain ;D)
If Ling can't get him, then he has a list of around 10 players to target for a loan in February. The only problem with that is that I think it can only be for a duration of 90 days which would not cover the play off period a la Stanley last year!
On the upside, there is a good article about Morris in today's Herald who seems to be relishing the opportunity of having a run in the side and appears to be a bit more happy and settled down here. Obviously, his injury has held him back and if he can now start to knock a few in, then January may potentially turn out to be a good month for us!

Mmmmm........ www.torquayunited.com/page/News/0,,10445~2574740,00.html So it's either Billy to buy or Another loan for three months - miss play offs if we get there. Disappointed. Needs Billy +1 striker Mr Ling.

Bodin in the starting 11 for Swindon today Could be ominous for us. He was subbed after 67 minutes with another ex loanee, Ronan Murray coming on as his replacement. We will have to see how things pan out for us and hopefully Ling can bring in someone else! Nice to see Morris score his first for us and maybe we won't miss him too much this month?

If Bodin is going to stay there for too long then maybe Jake Robinson may fancy returning?

If Bodin is going to stay there for too long then maybe Jake Ruobinson may fancy returning? No thanks to Robinson, over-rated in my humble opinion. Once the opposition worked out he could only kick with one foot he became peripheral in many games. Although nobody covered themselves in glory at old trafford last may, he was one of our worst performers that day. Bodin on the other hand, I would take back in a heartbeat!!!

If he does come back came we make sure that a) all the paperwork is completed on time and b) he can play against his parent club as he is guaranteed to score a couple of goals against them! ;D
Northampton need all the help they can get in their struggle against relegation but Robinson didn't even make the bench on Saturday and in the two prior matches only came on for the last few minutes! Although he tailed off last year, still scored seven and I wouldn't say no....
