Excuse me gentlemen, but aren't these constant petty bickerings the reason why most of us found ourselves on this site. We are surely edging ever closer to the next appearance of an embryonic alternative competitive site for ADULT Gulls fans. Talk to each other and sort out your problems - at a game, via PMs, on the phone or somewhere else, but please DESIST or we'll all end up jumping ship, AGAIN. You should both know better at your ages  Was it that great philosopher, Thumper, who once said: "If you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all" Would MODERATORS please moderate this puerile, tetchy, petty, humourless lunacy, please? Back to the subject matter of the title of this thread.
Nothing has been reported by the club, as far as I can see, regarding Scott Bevan's loan being extended for a third month.
However, it would appear that he is still training with the team today, despite his second month having expired yesterday, so that it can only be assumed that the third month has been agreed.
The whole goalkeeping situation is very confusing at the moment and it would appear that the situation is being kept under wraps by the club. I'm certain that I have seen a quote from the manager that Poke will be on the bench on Saturday, and yet it was also confirmed some while ago that Southampton do not want him to be cup-tied.
I'm hoping for official clarification today.

Humourless it may be, but David Graham's Eighth Pint made a first class match report on the forum, gave his own honest views and his views on how Sills performed were not shared by others. He then felt the need to make another post to defend his corner and only one person had a problem with that. Merse's opening two lines in his reply to that post, were in my view written to try and belittle David Graham's Eighth Pint, not really what we like to see on the forum. Merse also had a go at StuartB, claiming he was posting while drunk, yet I agreed with StuartB's view and simply made a post to prove the point.The reply was once again in my view, just rude . If you want to give it out , then sorry you have to able to take it. The forum has no wish to see personal spats become a norm and the one thing I said would not be allowed, was for any member to be subject to personal abuse. |

I'm hoping for official clarification today. Has anyone heard any news? nothing on.com or in the Herald Express, but as it seems Bevan was training with the team, the day after his loan ran out, then I guess we have him for another month. It seems strange we have not heard anything, maybe its just all being checked, to make sure we do not fall foul of any rules. Pikey explained how it should work and there should be no reason why we could not extend his loan for another month. With our cup game only a day and a half away, I can't see Bucks not having it all sorted who will be in goal for us. |
