Shrewsbury have got a very tall back four with Sadler,(6'0) Sharps, (6'3) Cansdell-Sheriff (6'0) and Grandison,(6'4) and I can't see us any getting any change out of lumping it upfield to a target man.
It will be interesting to see how Bucks plays this but maybe the quick Robinson and Murray up front with Zebs and Tomlin on the wings would encourage the ball to be kept on the floor?

Thats providing Bucks does start both of the new loan players, but I expect he will. Why put Tomlin's on the wing? It would have to be the left one as Zebs is better on the right. Robinson surely is the player to have on the left wing with Tomlin playing up front with Murry?

Maybe, it is just that I read that Tomlin can play on the wing as well and I thought Jake played better against Stevenage, also with tall defenders when he moved into the middle. However, as I haven't seen either Tomlin or Murray play then it is hard to argue either way.

I only ask as if he was played on the left wing, he would need to do plenty of tracking back to help protect Nico if Bucks starts with him and not Rowe-Turner. I do agree we need to keep the ball on the floor and not just lump it up high to who ever Bucks does put up there. Pace, good passing and movement, will the the key to unlock the Shewsbury defense.

Bucks was certainly looking for someone with pace and if he can play on the wing then he should have some and we all know that the manager likes his wingers to be a goal threat. If they don't start, I expect O'Kane or Stevens to come on later on the left wing so whoever starts there can give it their all. We do now have a variety of attacking options which we didn't have against Aldershot so I am expecting a good match this afternoon.

It goes without saying he will Aussie, he played a very important part in our promotion back to the football league and certainly never left us under any circumstances that would have turned any fan against him.

Your forgetting the Wayno haters mentallity on the pop side Dave, us normal fans will applaud him, I have no doubt at all, but the moron element will probably sing stupid songs about him!

went to the game at their place, the hospitality afforded us by the club staff and fans alike was first class along with their superb facilities. This hasnt got a scoreless draw written all over it at all,i reckon an entertaining 3-2 win for us.Wroe was a good servant to us in re-surgent times,he deserves a respectful welcome

I will certainly be giving Nicky a warm round of applause as he did well for us in our Blue Square Years ....and I still remember his picture on the back of the Herald when he first signed for us in 2008, wasn't he Buck's first player he brought in ( prob wrong ! ) 99 apps ?? ( prob wrong too !! ) As for today's game ..well... won one lost one and drawn one in our last three games just shows what we all know that we are just too inconsistent, It will be interesting to see how we line up today and weather we start with two new loanee strikers from the off ? though it seems Billy ( Strickland Banks ) Kee has recovered from his bad ankle and I would be unhappy if he is shunted out in favor of one of these two. I would be even more unhappy if Nico is not more involved with the corner taking .. long throws ( especially if we have Tomlin on ) and free kicks as his service is simply priceless ..I know Stanley who we HAVE to sign is now taking the corners and there pretty good really.... but not in Nico's class. Shame we wont have the new drum though.... Or Gilbert... but at least it wont be as cold today Enjoy The Game Peeps !!

Well just walked in the door after a week skiing in France and what a brilliant welcome home to find we are 5-0 up with minutes to go! What a game to miss! Don't recognise all the names so will have to research TFF to find out what is happening. Added to this win (I'm confident they won't come back and snatch a draw as has happened a few times in the last 5 minutes this season) was a magnificent win for my 'second' favourite country Italy over the French! Sheer joy!!! ;D
