It is amazing how one decent match performance and result can put a different shine on things. No wins in four has suddenly turned into only one loss in eight, (when we were a man down) and one place off the play offs.
Aldershot will probably be safe this season but are hovering on the edge of the relegation scrap and need to put some distance between Stockport and Barnet who are still capable of grabbing the odd win. Aldershot haven't won in the last eight games but like us have only lost once so maybe this game has got draw written all over this.
If Aldershot do score then I hope it is Sills, an absolute Torquay legend and surely he deserves a good run in this league. No one has scored that many goals for Aldershot but Luke Gutteridge may be the dangerman to look out for having scored with a thirty yard shot on Saturday.
So, after a good win on Saturday, the players should be full of confidence to go and get a result and avenge our earlier home defeat against them this season. The question is whether Bucks will decide to keep our two "wingers" up front in a 4-4-2 that worked so well in the second half? A lot will depend on whether O'Kane and Stevens can continue from where they left off on Saturday and also carry out their defensive duties away from home. It would also actually leave us with a decent striker on the bench in the form of Kee to bring on later!

I think that Stevens will start - he was excellent on Saturday, although perhaps one factor would be the state of the Aldershot pitch. The visit there in our first BSP seasons marked it out as one of the best surfaces that I have ever seen at this level. I know that Chelsea were playing their reserve games there, not sure if that is still the case but I suspect that had a real impact on that surface.
I think that Kee will be sat on the bench if he is in the squad and as you say Rjdgull it gives us a real option.
I think that we really have to be able to grind the results out against teams like Aldershot (with respect to them) if we have any chance of making the play-offs - and we certainly have managed to get fantastic results there on our last two visits and are bound to have a good few hundred there on Tuesday.

aldershot are the draw specialists in league two,so are hard to actually beat,a win here will put us in the mix,but it wont be easy, stephens played very well on saturday, despite myself and a few around me questioning him coming on,but he blows very hot and cold at times,he is either brilliant or anonymous, lets hope its the former.Looking forward to seeing sillsy play again,if we dont mark him properly he will punish us,guaranteed no boos for him from our fans as he is a legend here,i think this could well be a draw, but hope we nick it

Monday morning around 9.30am in Yeovil, I will be enjoying some good banter with my Aldershot supporting friend. He works in a power tool and fixings supply shop on the Penn Mill trading estate.
All the other people he works with are all Yeovil fans as you might expect and the biggest one is a young lady called Claire. She is a season ticket holder and lives in the delightful village called East Coker that is just outside of Yeovil.
It seems like only yesterday I started working for Toolfix, but boy has so much happened to both Torquay United and Yeovil since the first day I called into this company and introduced myself.
On that day we were the bigger club, a proper league club and had been for over 80 years. While Yeovil were just a non league club that was famous only for a number of giant killings in the FA cup and also a sloping pitch.
I never believed back then that the day would come when I would drive into Yeovil one Monday morning and ending up with big tears in my eyes. That morning hundreds of white and green balloons were still blowing around the streets from Saturday.
Yes that Saturday, the day we got relegated to the BSP and Yeovil got promoted into division one, what a painful day it was and I don’t think I have ever got in and out of Yeovil as fast as I did that day.
My Aldershot friend did come down for our home match against his team and sure rubbed in the result to me the next time I called into his work place, so I’m really hoping we win this game so I can get my own back on him.
A ground I only ever have been to once and such a long time ago. My only real memory of being there was after the match when we had to leave via the back of the away end and found ourselves lost in some jungle before we found a path down to the road.
I do not believe this game will end in a draw, we are going to win it and we will score more than one goal. No magpies around as I write this, just me and my brain working it all out.
I said after Benyon went and Robinson came here and Kee started to be one of Bucks first choice for the starting eleven, that we had more goals in us in the second half of the season than the first. I still believe that.
I do agree that Danny blows hot and cold and we never know which one is going to turn up on the day. But I expect Bucks won’t want to change to much as we did win on Saturday and most managers tend to stick with the winning formation.
That may well mean Billy Kee only making the bench; I would not be too unhappy with that as I also agree we would then have a striker to bring off the bench in the second half.
Another good three points keeps the dreams very much alive, I do however still have some concerns about the possibility of promotion, but hey lets worry about that if and when it happens.

Seventyseven - when I went to Aldershot last time (in the BSP season) I went in through the home end and walked around to the away end - not sure if you were able to do this last season (anyone else know?). If you can still do this I'm sure you could sell your tickets to Gulls fans for use - bound to be loads around before the match.

Won't be able to make it down as it's my birthday, but good luck TUFC for a win tonight, it really would (if you'll pardon the pun) be the icing on the cake for today!

So we start with the team that played so well in the second half against Stevenage, I think this is the line up we all expected. At least we do have a striker on the bench who can come on later in the game. Bucks has been talking about keeping the ball on the floor and we sure did that in the second half on Tuesday. Just done my predictions and put us down for a three one win.
