Well, well. All nice and feisty. Dave Shaw - I don't agree with you on the 'Buckle is bad thing' theme, - he's what we have got, he cares and he's trying his damndest - I can't see anyone else in the wings who could do any better. But, I certainly do not agree with the aggressive and personal invective against your views. This is not what I had thought this forum was about. I apologise for those posts which are inappropriate. Keep your love for the team old blade! Like your 'sheeple' quip but it took me a mo' to get it! Back to manager bit - I'm starting to think (not with any substance mind, I just have a feeling) that Paul Buckle could do with a bit more confidence in the style he wants. A bit more 'courage of his conviction'. Maybe he's listening to others too much - I don't know? He's a young manager and he will learn. For me, I'm happy for him to continue to learn at TUFC - I'm still happier with the club than the season before last. [glow=red,2,300]Pax vobiscum [/glow]my friends, Scott. is that a new version of sage and onion? ;D

Pax Vobiscum.
Now, if I'm right, it's a Roman goodbye meaning 'peace go with you'.
Now try this - 'In vino veritas'.
(i've been caught out by it myself in life!)

(i've been caught out by it myself in life!) something to do with wine? ;D When I was in the RAF we had "per ardva ad astra" through difficulties to the stars and "sempre in excretia" which is always in the sh*t (only the depth varies!) not always support Exeter ;D

Stu,
= In wine the truth.
Which, in my case, means that after a few too many you tell your beloved - 'Yes! You are fat and yes, I do fancy the barmaid!' An ambulance is always advisable when trying to pick your teeth up with a broken arm...
My favourite (and I promise to stop now) is one I'm sure you know - Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori. (check the spelling. as someone who's served their country in the forces, you have my respect) (but why not the Navy???)

Graham Westley or Garry Hill ought to be in contention as well. 4 on the trot for the pair, too.
It is sweet and fitting to die for one's country - translation of Dulce...etc..
