Well ive checked every site possible and looks like the journey "North" is on!!!!
Still got a bit of a feeling that game might not happen cos rain has been falling most of the morning.
My youngest has decided to join me and also offered to drive...so perhaps it will be OUR day!!!
Fingers crossed all......will leave match report to others later cos got bloody fancy dress party later!!!!

Rendell heads at goal and the ball hits the inside of the post and stays out, we might have been under pressure at the start, but I'm sure we will get chances and lets hope we can take any that we get.

A first half where we have had to soak up plenty of pressure from the home side as we might have expected. Both Mansell and Hargreaves have made important tackles and Poke has made the odd save or two.
We have been a bit guilty of losing the ball in places he should not be losing the ball and finding an attack for us has ended up with us having to defend and as DT has said, it may be best for the likes of Rendell to take an extra touch on the ball due to the condition of the pitch.
It’s still all equal after 45 minutes and everything to play for in the second half and the game could be won by a single goal and lets hope its united who get it. Can’t see any changes being made by Bucks at the start of the second half, but if we have not scored with 20 mins to go I would not be surprised to see benyon come on.

Did I hear Conlon's (as in big bald) Barry name mentioned in the Chesterfield's attack? Yes. He signed for them on 3 month initial loan from Grimsby this morning. With a view to a permanent. Will help them out whilst Jack Lester remains injured. |

Just the sort of exercise I've come in from watching Anthony and his squad of A Class U9's taking part in..................playing a ball into a lone player marked and surrounded by three opponents and a competition against the stopwatch to see who caould hang onto it for the longest ~ he won it with a best time of twenty seconds Try it against Carol and her Mum and Dad when they get back from the shops Dave! ;D |

well just our luck we score a goal DT said should have been given but Smith was given off side and then we go and let one in at our end, games hinge so much at times on decisions being given correctly.

Disappointing to have the goal disallowed (not sure if the lino is Daryl Harper) - by all accounts came off a Chesterfield player before Thomson scored......
.....then big bald Barry scores.
