We shouldn't need interaction with home fans to make noise When I mentioned "interaction" yesterday, it wasn't inter terrace rivalry I had in mind. I was referring to the usual conversational socialising one enjoys with opposition fans on the road and within Boots on a match day. In two visits and in three licensed premises there has not been ONE Woking fan to be seen! Should we have to got there again, I would heartily recommend the Snooker Club adjacent to the away turnstile...............brilliant vibe, good but simple "pub food" and good beer prices - the only minus mark being for no real ale which on such a cold afternoon has the fart inducing properties that could have "warmed" the atmosphere inside the ground!

Gullupnorth, quality video mate. Check out around the 3:30 mark for the amazing tackle from Mansell followed by that miss. I quite like the yellow shirt, blue shorts and blue socks combo. Anyway, I've cleared up a few things on the "Differing Player Ratings" thread. But I'll just add a few things here. Now you are not going to like this DGFP, but personally I thought Sills was excellent today. You're three pints short there Crooky! If you thought he was excellent, then that's fine. I just don't agree. Stevens caused Woking problems all day long, with speed and trickery. Your post was excellent Rob. However, I'm afraid this sentence didn't sit well. As much as I love Stevens, he was taken out of the game today. I suppose that's the problem when you're as small as he is! He took his goal very, VERY well though. Whilst Nicholson was partly to blame for the first goal, it was a dreadful pass back/across the box that let Woking in. Yeah, I was going to mention this in my match report but I couldn't remember who had made the pass and didn't want to accuse the wrong person! Having seen it again on the video, I stand by my belief that Nicholson really should have done better. How anyone can accuse Sills of laziness on today's performance is beyond belief! What do you expect him to do..............fecking press ups when the ball's up the other end? Jump up and down doing star jumps whilst the physio's on? How about"doggies" whilst he's waiting for the inordinate amount of time it took Woking to take any re-start today? Sarcasm really isn't your forte is it?

Brilliant video Gullupnorth - cheers ! It makes such a difference when you can't get to matches. Hope it's going to be a regular feature. Must have been frustratint for those there to see two avoidable/unlucky goals against, missed chances and bad refereeing too. looking forward to getting down to Devon for the Cambridge game. Hope there isn't a post FA cup reaction. Hope we can keep the run going then burst Histon's bubble in a couple of weeks !

For what it's worth, your opinion is exactly as I saw his performance against Rushden. Though I can't recall anyone - elsewhere - agreeing with me that day.

Great video of the game. The Woking goals were completely our own fault, bad defending. Hargreaves should have done better with his backwards header. Good tackle from Mansell to avoid the 3-0. After that it was all us.
Good goals scored and a few missed. Carayol should have scored 1-on1, good save by their goalkeeper though. Benyon's chance at the end was very difficult.
Not a bad result but better defending should have got us 3 points.
