Dave, You are correct you did not pass any names onto me. I would never ask you to. Witneygull your name was passed onto me over a month back, as was yorkgull, stuart b & [glow=red,2,300]chris hayes[/glow]. Double standards are here when you have a go about me not disclosing my company links and you dont like the idea that you can bash me and I know your name. I hope you didn't waste too much time finding out my real name Sean!

Well, at the time I didn't find it necessary to choose a nickname to post. I'm wondering why someone would want to find out my true identity though? Its not as though I intentionally post anything controversial.

Me and that man have sat in here on our own so many times in the first few weeks, so we needed to do our memory lane. To be fair to the man he has a memory like no one else I know and I'm so glad to have him on my forum.

Agree Dave,
Merse has a great knowledge of TUFC I have been on the phone for hours with him talking about the old days. He also knows many names associated with football. Ask him about the lew pope days, it makes bateson seem like a well balanced businessman.

Sean Melhuish Now come on Sean, your a crook, should be locked up and the key thrown away, only joking, people need to start seeing you for who you really are, not what they think you are.

Im just a fan, sometimes I do step over the mark, but never with malice. Im fortunate to be able to help the club we all love, I know if all of you were in the same position you would invest the same. Im more relaxed about critics these days, I will never please everyone all the time, just some people some of the time. I can live with that.
Still looking forward to meeting you next season Dave.

I think its misunderstandings all around then. I wasn't making any allegations that your company was in anyway dodgy, it was more a personal dig at yourself, judged on the one time I've seen you in the flesh (at Colchester). I used the current Portsmouth and Chelsea bosses to try and highlight that there's possibly some slightly shady people involved in football. I tried to do it with a bit of humour but I guess my humour is a little warped sometimes. My apologies if you took it the wrong way. I really appreciate that your investing money into the infrastructure of the club but first impressions count for a lot sometimes. Colchester was a bad day for everyone though.

Well said Chris H. Can't add much to that other than to advise everybody that the best way to deal with wums (wind-up merchants), that may appear in the future, is to ignore them. If we all can manage to pass them by, in our discussions, we may have an easier life*. *Whether spending time discussing TUFC constitutes having a life is another question. [glow=yellow,2,300]The missus certainly disputes it and told me so not 20 minutes ago![/glow] I'm sure shes more worried, after you have been drinking all that cheap booze tonight, if she is going to get a peaceful nights sleep, free from your snoring and farting ;D ;D ;D

Been lurking for a while, enjoying the opinions of former members of the other place. good to see some of you are still alive!! Not sure why you want to know my details Sean. If I remember correctly we had disagreement over 12 months ago and had since closed that issue before you disappeared again. I have not criticised your business nor will I in the future. Well done for supporting the club financially and yes we would all like to be in that position one day.
