 I see we've bagged our 100th member already with the additions of Rattz and Twickenham Gull promising more quality posters on the sight for quality postings. I must say the standard of contribution and level of debate on here has been a huge success, and would guess I'm not alone in finding refuge from the plethora of banality and cat calling in the name of "banter" that for me is utter childishness. Congratulations everyone for an amazing achievement in such a short time in the close season and may the good standard continue!

Yes Merse I'm very pleased in just four short weeks we have reached our first 100.
As you say, all quality members, who when the season starts will have this forum rocking. So thanks to you all, for showing me I was not wrong.

100 people desperately in need of finding something better to do with their lives??
Shall we have a poll of the 'members'? Best current player? Best past player? Worst thing to happen to the club? etc? Yes, you're right it's best not to go there as we could descend into idiocy like happens on other places.
Nice to talk to you all, hope you don't find me a fake for being a part-time attender at matches and watching more on telly than live! Still Sultana been a godsend to me, not to the family though - who have to leave the house. What do they know - all baggies or wolves fans!?

We are glad to have you, just sorry its not so busy, but as Merse says its out of season and we are only four weeks old, but we will look forward to hearing your views on the matches etc and hope we will be able to keep you up todate with the real news  |

Am off to play Championship Manager 2008 now. I've got the boys to Div 1 2010-11 season.
Yes. I know I've got houseplants with more life than me! But with 4 women in the house there's only so much beer you can drink at the pub before you have to come home.

I'm not one of those who feel that you are only a true fan, if you attend every game etc. The fact that you support the team when you can and I hope its your first team, makes you a supporter as good as anyone else. People like me have been to so many games but those who maybe have only one season under their belt , have as much right as me to claim they are a true supporter of TUAFC |

One thing seems to be that the percentage of quality postings on here are far in advance of the ratio on the "other side"When I read postings that are carelessly put up, full of infantile spelling mistakes and then read that the contributor has been busy finishing further education work with a university place waiting for them I question the sanity of this present day age when such low standards would have been insurmountable in even getting a cleaning job at a uni in the not so distant past. "When I were a lad" one had to be a bit out of the ordinary, gifted and educated to get to university, now (in the name of getting as many into uni as possible just to please government figures) it seems one just has to be.................. Thank goodness for Dave and his commitment to providing an adult platform. |
