Sadly, at this time of year, Plainmoor is like an NHS hospital ward…things get turned down on a daily basis!
We all know how it works, all the out of work players are jockeying for position, and all we seem to end up with is some old nag who would have to be carried around the course by Lester Piggott in order to win a race.
Still, I can feel the tension mounting and await the news of a ‘Marquee Signing!’ I would imagine though, that the only type of MS we could muster would be the Marquis de Sade! 🧌

Link - I see that CLE has signed for Stockport which many rumours were pointing him towards. I think he deserves a place in the EFL and nice to not be facing our top 2 goal scorers next season!

Still, he’ll be on good money so good luck him…‘where there’s muck there’s brass!’
Lovely that Stockport have let their fans know of the signing, many already looking forward to playing in league one the season after the coming one.
Wouldn't it be nice if we were informed of any great signings, (or any bloody signing) unless of course we haven’t signed any bugger yet!

Best two players now all signed up for League 1 and League 2 respectively. Can’t begrudge when moving upwards and good luck to both. We need some serious Marquis de Sade’s now if we are to be competitive next season from the off, though.

Four or five sounds a little vague, perhaps because players not exactly rushing to join TUFC. Frankly I would expect a good manager to confirm precise numbers. Seems we will be dredging the pond for any leftovers again if we cannot confirm around eight players at this point. Fasten your seatbelts it’s going to be another bumpy ride!

‘Please don’t be anxious’…is that similar to ‘don’t look behind you?’ Because we all know what happens when someone says that.
4 or 5 committed…mmmmmmm…I would rather have read, 4 or 5 new players signed.
