Well we really fully deserve to be in the hat for the forth round draw, but who would you like to get in the next round. A small club, with the chance of winning and going into the fifth round? Or a top club and just get a big pay day, but a game we probably would not win and then let the team get back to trying to win promotion. the details of the draw can be found here www.thefa.com/TheFACup/TheFACup/NewsAndFeatures/Postings/FACup_4thRoundDraw.htm

I'll settle for a decent sized club away from home. Everton or Newcastle. Some big club that has more football supporters rather than day trippers on a "working class day out". Villa away might also be nice.

Looking at the prize funds so far we have made £160,000 so far and that's including the £7,500 highlight package.(I presume that for getting your goals shown on ITV).
Add into that an aggregate attendance of 10,300 in the cup, the club have made (from my calculations) over £225,000 so far.
What will tomorrow bring??? I would hope for a TV appearance if not a BIG away day.
This has maybe taken the pressure of progressing as far in the FA Trophy as originally planned for. I'm not saying we should try to get out of the competition (Buckle wouldn't dream of it) but I wouldn't be to sad if we didn't have to play consecutive Saturdays in the Trophy semis come April.

Sure your figures are correct Pikey and I would think that sum, would have covered the low gates this season and the club may well have been able to put some aside for a rainy day.
I know where you are coming from re the FA trophy, but we stand a better chance of winning that one, it has good history and I would hope we could find a way to stay in it and even get to the final again. That is providing it did not effect our chance of promotion, any sign of that happening and lets get out of it.

Well was using the following as an estimate Prize money 4th Qualifier £12,500 1st Rnd £20,000 2nd Rnd £30,000 3rd Rnd £75,000 TOTAL £135,500 Throw in 3 rounds of match highlights on ITV and Setanta of £7,500 = 22,500 Aggregate attendance from the 4 games for far of 10,376 at an average of £11= £114,136 I think it's 40% to the visting team or is it shared?? I'm not sure but half it, it comes to £57,068. Add it all together and we get £215,068 Very nice. You can add into the programes, 50/50 draw tickets beer from Boots and it show a good cup run can really help a club get along and its still growing. Happy Days £££
