While it was great to see Wynter back playing on Saturday, we still only had four fit defenders and with Cameron having to go off early, it set us back to square one and is a real worry. Also the midfield balance is wrong without Nemane and CLE is not getting into those positions causing problems for other teams.
If Nemane is still not fit I would prefer to see Andrews on the left wing and Whitfield on the right with one up front but of course we need another defender to be available for that to happen. Too early for either Price or Slough?
Solihull Moors have had quite a compact run of games recently as they try to catch up and with a mixed bag of results but when they’ve played our promotion rivals recently, Notts County and Hartlepool have found ways to win against them both 2-0 at home.
Will be watching with trepidation....

I had hoped we would have brought in a couple of new players by now. Tough few weeks ahead unless we get more match fit players in the squad. Unbelievable run of bad luck on the injury front. GJ must be tearing his hair out. ....along with a few supporters.

link - according to Dave Thomas no one is returning from injury tonight with just Moxey and Little likely to be back soon. Covolan is back in training but needs a week or two to regain match fitness.

If we have to start a mid table side once again I expect a mid table result. If we don't have the players on the pitch to carry out the high tempo attacking style and tactics maybe we should be looking at the best way to use the players who are fit and at our disposal. Not at all surprised there are no new additions as probably way over budget now with so many on the books and virtually impossible to find quality ready made replacements. The two young squad fillers here to gain experience we no doubt got on the cheap with the parent club contributing to wages. Add to that we have half the squad who are on contract and being paid now injured many long term. We have to be realistic and hope we can ride the storm and get one or two back from injury. The problem is obvious to me is that we have brought them back too soon and following one or two starts they go injured again and thats happened over and over againwith Little, Warren, Moxey, Kerr etc. GJ can no longer gamble with injured not 100% fit players. Wright, Nemane, Moxey, Cameron, Little, Warren etc, the core of our early success, all have to now fully recover before being considered and hope we get as many back as possible to seriously challenge because we wont with the players now available.
Note: interesting to read that Sutton are not suffering the same hamstring injury curse - maybe there are benefits from playing on artificial 3g pitches. Soft ground is well known for hamstring tears and pulls.
Hope for a good result and three points but have to be prepared again for defeat with what we have left to choose from in the squad. Not sure I can watch though good value @ £7.50 to stream.

Four centre-forwards on the bench including new signing Boden. Surprised they included Street ahead of Slough or Price - as you can only use three!
Guessing Waters up front with Lemonheigh-Evans behind, Whitfield and Andrews wide.
I wonder if Buse will slot into centre-midfield with Hall playing alongside Sherring and Lewis at left-back? We looked very naive at the back after Cameron went off. Sherring and Lewis would benefit from having an older head in there rather than having to nurse Buse or Andrews.
Hall may be more likely to last 90 minutes at the back. Worried about both Hall and Wynter managing two lots of 90 minutes so quickly. If they do have to come off, they will both be replaced by a centre-forward!!

I see Sheaf is missing too. You would think he would be ahead of Street given the balance of the bench and possible need to shuffle more midfielders into the back four if we have an injury.

That starting line up looks as weak as it ever has to me and the bench well surely must mean others have picked up injuries and aren't available Not very encouraging unless they can all get their games together. Buse returns for a start maybe a change of approach from the manager and not going for the throat @ 100mph from the off only to be suckered by a quick break this time round.. Horse for courses as the saying goes but who plays where Gawd only knows nothing seems to be working of late.
Taking a punt at Boden who's not that physical but knows this league and whats expected. Lets hope his bloody hamstrings are made of Kevlar...

Looks like Andrews left back, Buse wide right.

Thought it was a good performance for a deserved goal lead. Will be playing into the wind and Solihull look like they have a goal in them.

Coverage is excellent. No problems with stream . Camera work perfect. Wide enough to see what is going on, close enough to see the players. Sparing use of replays. Informative commentary from people who are actually watching the game.
We have played much better than recently, but game far from over. A tough 45 minutes ahead playing into the wind.
