Reading the Herald Express on line I see that Bucks may have players he might like to try and get, but is wary of damaging the team spirit. I think we all have agreed that maybe a left winger and a forward, might be the targets Bucks might be looking at.
Also interesting in view of things read elsewhere in the past, that Bucks states he has a good relationship with Colin, there was me thinking he was about to leave and take the squad with him, because there was a major problem between them.
I'm sure any meetings Bucks has with the powers above, will be positive and with a view that if possible the team will be strengthened.

It's all very well having a great team spirit, but what we need is results! A left winger and a new striker are a must...................would be good if we could get them before saturday! Then we might actually get a ..........................

Well don't forget that Mr SG has all the up-to-date and honest views coming straight from the heart of the club so it must've been true! How could the font of all that is happening at Plainmoor slip up? Is his source less a mole, more a snake? Surely not......

weathergull I do think the team spirit is very important and it is something I remarked upon the other day. It was clear to me watching the players out on the pitch, that they were a very happy bunch together.
I was surprised to read the two comments on the HE site, the view was this team as it stands will be going no where. Not a view I share having just enjoyed a record breaking run.
Any player that came in, has to blend in with the other players and not be a bad influence in anyway, one bad apple can ruin the whole bunch I seem to remember from some song, was it the Osmond's? If any player comes in he really would have to be an improvement on what we have got and want to play his part in helping the team gain promotion.

The keeper situation now sorted - defo need some striker to stand in for Sillsy.
IF we could put away the half chances and one-on-ones then we wouldn't need anybody else and (sorry too many ands) wouldn't be so far behind Burton.
Shame were not playing tomorrow.

The striker situation would appear to be sorted for the rest of the season, a youngster with some quality is about to hit our shores!

Yes I understand it might well be Tristan Plummer, a young forward from Bristol City, he has been attracting interest from a team in the top flight. I understand it would be on loan to the end of the season. If he is the one who is coming then we will have to see how he gets on. Some may feel that he would not be the experienced 20+ goal a season forward, we would hope to be signing. Until we comes and until we see him play and what we can do for our chances of going up, lets look at any new signing as positive intent from the club.

Yes I understand it might well be Tristan Plummer, a young forward from Bristol City If that is the case, and judging from his profile on the Bristol City site; pace allied to finishing power is STILL the name of the game as far as Bucks is concerned.................and I must say I agree. Think back to the fantastic eight wins on the spin we enjoyed under Kevin Hodges ten years ago when Jason Roberts was brought in to partner Rodney Jack. Opponents were left terrified and powerless as their pure speed and striking wrought havoc and we shot up the table.......................just what is called for now! The lad's not big (5' 6" & ten stoneish), that's not the issue. He's already had a loan at Luton Town and his manager at Ashton Gate, Gary Johnson; knows the Conference inside out and whether or no the would flourish in the BSP. Remember, he's only a youngster who will need a little settling in period though, and those morons on the "Pop" who love to torment some of the players will need to be kept in check with their invective. More pure pace in the side? More of Tim Sills peeling out of the traditional front point of the attack then as he has been doing more and more this season..........................it's an ever evolving system and team!

I can only see him as a bench/impact option, that is unless he makes an immediate and goalscoring impact. Buckles philosophy of back tracking wingers has been an asset to our performances especially this term and a feature that many of the doom and gloom merchants tend to conveniently ignore when criticising a player. Particularly at this level young showy players are a bit of a luxury, though personally I love to see the Mussy Carayols' and the Joe Kufours, and the outstanding Rodney Jack in a Torquay shirt, it seems to me that many supporters haven't the patience and end up slagging them off with every error made. When they do produce they are incisive match winners and add value to your entrance fee. Matt Green is a fine example. Justifiably criticised for missing so called easy chances, easily forgotten is the fact that the guy created each one with his own ability and that's why I rate him highly. For me there's always a place this type of player but it has to be a balanced selection so he could never replace the "MAIN MAN" Mr Sills and would just be another wide option.

Isn't that one of the missing links at the moment, a decent left winger? Over on .net there is *youtube footage of him, a bit flashy, but would like to see a TUFC winger actually take on and beat a defender for once. This guy would do that and more! * I would have transferred the footage, but I 'aint got a clue how to do it!
