Two words on that clip. Studs. Achilles. So what you're saying there is, we can't have any decent players at Torquay because they'll get taken out?

My thoughts on the clip are that it only shows a few tricks, but I'm sure he is not just some trick pony and has much more about his game. If he is the one who is coming then we really need to let him have a decent chance and not start getting on his back, as often happens at Plainmoor.

...according to dot net, Plummer has signed and Stuart Beavon from Weymouth is also coming.
Must admit that young Plummer seems an outstanding talent, my Bristol City mate is raving about him, looking forward to seeing him play, lets be honest bar the matches against the top6 in this league, there's precious little to excite in the BSP.
If both arrive then there must be some going the other way, Tisdale is thought to be keen on Benyon and Stevens.

Two words on that clip. Studs. Achilles. If I was a seasoned pro at right back those two words might enter my head as well. ;D

There was an interesting thread running on the Bristol City's forum, it was about the young lad after it was said that Arsene Wenger was interested in him. Well worth a read to hear the City fans view on him. www.otib.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=71141

If what you say is true JM, then I will have to change my dire outlook for the rest of the season.

Can we afford Beavon where Bournemouth couldn't? I don't know why you asked that question, if we had Bournemouth's financial problems we really would be in the shite. Add to that the fact that they were in the midst of changing hands too and it is doubtful the incumbent board of the time would have sanctioned any expense anyway. Within the past 48 hours they have duly changed hands and manager Jimmy Quinn has departed after just 121 days in the job! .......................and McPhee and Beavon are totally different players. McPhee's (I would say) greatest strength lays in his adaptability (jack of all trades, master of none) he played centre back against us at Weymouth on Boxing Day,wide right midfield for Ebbsfleet against us at Wembley;yet right back at Ebbsfleet in the BSP last season. Beavon, if you have actually studied him; is a younger more mobile version of Lee Phillips but with "quicker feet", a good first touch and awareness of the positions of others and a good awareness of the positional sense needed appertaining the build up play as it happens rather than a stereotyped "always take up the same position" mentality making him very hard to man mark. As soon as I saw him start at Weymouth I was reaching for my programme to learn his name, he impressed me!

Todays Herald Express states that we have now signed Tristan Plummer and it is on a short term loan, not sure how short is short. He will be able to be played in the FA cup game against Blackpool on Saturday, should Bucks put in straight in the side.
