Billericay will appear on next seasons fixture list too. Are they the fellows splashing the cash? yeah although its only a matter of time until it all ends in tears

I hear that Owers is hoping to sign Romain (great), but wouldn't he be joining Williams, Reid and Keating as a strike force which was a bit toothless last season?

Romain has said he doesn't want to play in NLS. Our only chance of getting him would be if every other club turned him down.

Totally predictable. We will be left with the dregs as per usual.

There is a map of he we might be playing here: www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=15KmbzxlxLo4xNzBvSc4vLugE0as&ll=52.75781301023999%2C-2.2452449499999148&z=7Up until now, the Northern-most sides were Hereford, Gloucester and Brackley. But now Woking are below Barrow on points per game, they push one of the three North. The map guesses Brackley - presumably because that is where they currently are. The map still has King's Lynn coming up with Hereford and going North. If they were to be replaced by Weymouth or Slough, another club would be pushed North. That could very well be Hereford. That would be bad news in that we would lose a very rare "big game" from the fixture list. On the other hand, it might be better to move a big club out of our way. With Slough beating King's Lynn in the play-off final coming after Woking bagging the last relegation slot ahead of Barrow, it is now clear that just one out of Gloucester, Brackley and Hereford will play in National League South next season. Given that Gloucester were in National South last year, it is very probable that they will stay there and both Hereford and Brackley (if they lose their play-off final to Harrogate) will be in National North. Both Brackley (if they miss out this time) and Hereford would be expected to be strong promotion contenders. I really feel sorry for anyone who relies on Dave Thomas for news. He is as far removed from the plot as to how the National League North / South split works as he is on how promotion to the Peninsula League works and the likelihood of Clarke Osborne ever delivering on a promise to build a new stadium. In the Herald, he told his readers that "Torquay already know that promoted Hereford and Billericay will be among their NL South opponents next season". This came after banging on about how we could well run into Kettering if they won the playoffs. Kettering is well North of the dividing line and never had any chance whatsoever of being placed in the South. The confused ramblings in the Indy betray the fact that "Tom Charles" is Thomas in disguise. He moderates his stance on Hereford just a little to "As things stand Hereford will play in National League South but...." and then proceeds to throw Grantham into the mix if they won the NPL play-offs. Have a look at a map Tom Dave. It really should not be so difficult for you to understand. And don't get me started on the Peninsula League. Suffice to say that the end of April has passed and Torquay do not know if they are in. That will have come as a surprise to Dave Thomas, but not to anyone else.

Very poor local journalism standards exposed yet again. For not asking questions about Osborne’s past alone, they deserve a readership of zero Torquay United supporters.
Dulwich Hamlet will be an awayday I look forward to next season. Sounds like a good atmosphere is all but guaranteed with their fans and our following. A property developer that promised a new stadium has ensured they have been effectively kicked out of their Champion Hill home in recent months and they have failed at the play-off hurdle on three previous occasions, so their fans are long overdue some good fortune. Not against us, I hope.
Slough is an easy trip for me and their new ground looks a lot better than the last time I was there to see us in the FA Cup. I remember us scoring and quite a few spilling out onto the pitch accidentally as a barely secured kickboard/miniature advertising board collapsed in front of us, that day.
I think I might make a few more away trips next season than this one just gone to take in the various ‘new’ grounds. That part of next season I don’t mind at all. And whether we hit the ground running or not, I’m sure our fantastic away support will make the various journeys to create a better match day experience at many of those grounds. Truro packed to the rafters over the festive period should be a bit of fun, too, if we can all get in.

Who is going to break it to Dave Thomas? He was certain that Hereford would be in the South. His ingenious effort in this week's Herald created room by shifting Concord Rangers to the North. A nice try. I am sure we would have been happy to lose a trip to Canvey Island. Not sure what Rangers would have made of swapping Essex derbies with East Thurrock, Billericay and Chelmsford for Blyth Spartans, Spennymoor and Darlington.

Thomas online article earlier today apparently saying Braintree will be in a Conference South and Hampton & Richmond went up. Shockingly poor quality journalism.
