On another site somebody postulated that Lee Hodges may be the man. Whatever the outcome, surely it can only be seen as a success if the new manager brings in a fresh new dynamic approach and will be deemed a failure we're the new regime to appear somewhat lacking? GI too need to show they are emphatically backing the manager to source new players to get us out of the mire. Soon we will be able to pass judgement!

For Christ Sake, get on with naming a new manager. This process is slower than a slow thing from Slow Land, with their feet in cement and on sleeping pills.🐤

Totally agree jj..........lyrics of Dan Bern song " Jerusalem " seem appropriate at this time: Everybody's waiting for the Messiah The Jews are waiting The Christians are waiting Oh so are the Muslims It's like everybody's waiting They been waiting a long time I know how I hate to wait Like even for a bus or something An important phone call So I can imagine how darned impatient Everyone must be getting..............

Shock and awe....still no sniff of a manager! I notice that on the other two sites, the name of Osborne, GI and all who sail in her are the devil incarnate! Fool's and idiots are just some of the names levelled at them! Fool's and idiots? They picked up a football club for a few pennies (in their eyes) and if they fail to get hold of Plainmoor for property development, (which will make them millions) they will sell it as a going concern and make ten times what they put in! Even now, after receiving dogs abuse from the fans on the three sites they are playing with us, letting us know exactly just who is in charge...and guess what...it ain't us! Fool's and idiots...I don't think so!

You could call it that, or maybe more appropriately a RED letter day for TUST members. With Michael Goulbourne announcing his decision to stand down as TUST chairman. That's probably the only big announcement today, as Herrera and players won't want to be deflected from concentrating solely on the game at Bromley. I expect that TUST members will assess their departing leader's tenure appropriately on another thread, but I would think that MG will be given great credit for rejuvenating TUST, even if it hasn't always achieved all that it would like to. I'm sure both members and non-members wish the very best to him and his family, and recognise the well-intentioned hard work he's put in during his time as TUST chairman.

When the official statement from TUFC is "we are at a critical stage in finding a new manager for our club". If it was a patient on the operating table waiting for a critical operation they'll be dead!! Or when you hear " we are making progress in the process of blah blah".Progress they're making about as much progress as a donkey waking up Everest carrying 4 tonnes lead weights, backwards and blindfolded!! 🐵🐵

Going along tomorrow night. I do hope we get someone in who can start preparing in his own mould for Saturday. Feel sure I may have said that a couple of times already. A faltering caretaker having 6 matches in charge at a professional football club is fairly unheard of, but that's our lot these days under Osborne. The daily search for a crumb of comfort continues. Let's hope it is in the form of another clean sheet and maybe 3 points on the pitch tomorrow night.

The new manager of Torquay United FC has been offered to The Clacton Manager. Red Nose Robbie is the boss of a troupe of Clowns on The Pier. His reply to the offer was " a nice offer but if I leave here who would make the animal balloons". After he turned down the manager's job he squirted water over the TUFC rep from a false flower in his label, this I thought was uncalled for. Nothing seems to be going our way at the moment. Come United this is taking the pis#.
