If they got the freehold, I'm sure they'd be happy enough to 'sell' the football side of things or have the freehold transferred back to their ownership by the incoming 'owners' as part of the 'sale'. They didn't mind a default payment with Phillips et al and it would be a lot less hassle for the property deal they want.

My expectations for the 2017 / 2018 season, as I type this are; relegation,no hope, absolute crap performances, betrayal of loyal Torquay Supporters,no fight,no "balls",no leadership, headless chickens.I could go on,no need you get the picture this comes from a Gulls Supporter since 1970.Prove me wrong I'd (of course) be pleased with that!

Concur - the way GI and associated henchmen have behaved over the past few weeks has been lamentable. They have shown a total lack of ambition regarding TUFC, especially through wasting valuable time in taking so long to appoint a coach. Judging by the points gap before the safety zone can be reached, I suspect we have been, are and will continue to be screwed by our mysterious owners.

Ye, all the very best to the new management team. They are going to have to work, train, play harder than they ever have before,to get us out of this hope we are in. How long has it been United Fan's could celebrate something successful, like a 6 / 7 winning streak, a good cup run, promotion? We all live in hope!

Osborne and Mitchell loaned out. Right move in my opinion, brains seem to be working at our club now.

Having watched some PL football highlights today and considering the Burnley (I think) 'keeper gave the ball away so the opposittion scored, Andy Carroll lead with his elbow twice within as many minutes and got sent off and the Brighton skipper gave away a last minute penalty, perhaps we should give our £500 a week players a wee bit of slack or not?
