There is NOT A LOT OF EVIDENCE AVAILABLE that suggests much more than the promises that have been made so far are anything more than BULLSHIT! The ball is in the GI court It would help restore confidence if they (GI) came out with what the budget is, retained list (is Williams off to Dover?), ticket pricing for next season and how about meet the GI team?

Lots of speculation as to how the season will unfold. One thing is certain.....long road trip to Hartlepool.

I wonder if GI were there this afternoon to watch the greats from the past 25 years or so in the Rowcroft Match? If so, they would realise what Plainmoor and Torquay mean to us.
Cracking game ( 4 - 4) with some rolling back the years - Beds, Tully, Russell, Graham, Canners and Hazell to name a few.

Anyone know what happened to Ronald Huth who played in the PSF against the Baggies last season?

As far as I'm aware Huth is still in Paraguay, with Club Nacional who he joined in January.

Well done to FGR on gaining promotion to the EFL, more of interest surely than who is/was England's best right Back.

Well, that discussion is not only on a different thread, it's also on a different board, so there is no need for you to get involved in it if you feel that it is so irrelevant. Anyway, there is more to football than just Torquay United, as I'm sure many people would agree.

Who will we play at Xmas/New Year?? Eastleigh? Guess so. Probably as near as it gets. Maidenhead and Aldershot next closest? Although Shots will have Woking over the festive period. All easy trips for me, but no 'derby' feel. Shall miss the FGR games, but very pleased for them.

It just confirms that even to be successful at this level of football needs the millions of pounds we don't have. It's not Ashley Cole either. Agreed money helps but you've still got spend it wisely. Big spending Eastleigh only got 4 more points than us. Who is the best RB? 😎

Who is the best RB? 😎 And it doesn't help when the money starts to run out either, as Crawley seem to have discovered when Bruce's (was that his name?) legacy ran dry. Oh, and if you go purely on appearances, presumably comrade Nev? Never really liked him though and always thought Lee Dixon was a better all-round player
