LAST DAYS OF TEZZA ?
What a shambolic and rotten Party the Tories have become. With the country voting to Leave the E.U, and with Remainer Cameron having immediately stepped down, it was a scandalously self indulgent of their overwhelmingly Remain supporting MP's to then appoint a Remainer in the person of Treason May to sell the country down the river, in the knowledge she'd bow to every E.U demand and effectively let Brussels decide upon the terms of our leaving (should that ever happen).
Wasn't it because Remainer Cameron came back with precisely nothing from his lengthy 'negotiations' that had proved that the E.U didn't give a fig about the concerns that the British people had about the dictatorial and bureaucratic way they'd governed us for decades, that Cameron had to admit through the Referendum that you could get nowhere by trying to talk to them, and that we had to either accept things and Remain, or say enough is enough and Leave ?
But by putting May in charge we were back to where we were with Cameron.....it was almost as if the Referendum had never happened. She just restarted his negotiations, trying to work out the best means of disguising the fact that we would still effectively be in the E.U, following their rules and regulations, having none of the trade deals or the upside to Brexit....still giving them loads of money....being in 'a' Customers Union, not 'the' Customs Union. In short a total Remainer stitch up....pretty much just as you were before, just without the formal membership. A Brexit that means Remain.....and a vote to Leave that to all intents and purposes was being disregarded.
And yet May then had the gall to write an Election manifesto claiming that she fully intended to get us out of these E.U institutions and deliver on the 'Leave' vote. Having conned the Electorate, conned a number of Brexit Secretaries, the duplicitous PM should have been chucked out by Tory MPs a long time ago. Yet just gathering together 48 of them with an ounce of integrity seems to have taken an age.
You just can't lose sight of the fact that those voting tonight are pretty much the very same people who decided that Remainer May was suitable to be PM, most likely because her allegiance to the E.U dictatorship would have been well understood at Westminster.A woman with a plan to botch Brexit in every conceivable way possible, and stealthily turn Leave into Remain. Can we seriously trust these same people to do any better now ? Have these E.U loving leopards really shed their spots and decided to implement what the British people decided ? In fact is it even possible to rule out that they won't actually underline their traitorous intentions and vote for her again this evening !
May is just the head of the snake, the whole body of writhing Remainiac Tory and Labour MPs will still overwhelmingly infest our Parliament.....all of them achieving their position standing on Manifestos that promised the exact opposite from the way they're now behaving.
Getting rid of Tezza doesn't solve much while the massed ranks of those who brought someone like Tezza to Tory Party leadership are still in place and still determined to work against the interests of Britain and keeping us under the control of a Foreign power (and this time with any hope of an escape route taken away if that Backstop agreement goes through).
If we thought the local politicians trying to prevent our football club moving forward locally were bad, the ones doing their damnedest to deny the will of the people and screw the country while consigning us to E.U hell forever are worse again. We're still members so why aren't we taking our fair share of E.U based Jihadis in time for Christmas ? Let's at least have a few moments of respite, time to pour a small sherry and enjoy the sight of Remainer May being booted out the door this evening. The Tories owe us that minor pleasure surely. But even if they grant us that, who'd rely on the them not to immediately start deciding how to lumber us with something equally as bad. Lining up for us someone as committed to the great E.U dictatorship as Treasonous Tezza proved herself to be over and over again.
Just as our football club is sweeping it's opponents aside on the pitch, me must remain acutely aware that our opponents off the pitch have not gone away. We know who they are, we know which organisation they belong to, and we know that just swapping their leader didn't make the problem disappear. The battered and bruised Supporters Club, before it drew it's last breath, intimated that they'd found them to be anything but kinder and gentler.
End up with a Hunt, a Javid, or God preserve us, a Rudd....and the votes to replace Tezza won't have been worth the paper they were written on.
