Jack Sparkes (remember him?!  ), who scored one goal in his three games on loan from Ex'ter during December 2021, has now signed for Peterborough United. BBC Link

Lucas Covalan joins Braintree, who had been relying on a loan goalie from Oxford, and goes straight into the team for a 2-1 win over Aldeshot.

Kyle Cameron has joined St Johnstone in the SPL on a season-long loan. He moved in the summer, but I was oblivious to this until I happened to be in Glasgow this week and wandered along to the St Mirren Stadium in Paisley to see the home side beat the Perth Saints 3-1. Cameron played on the left of the back four, although the right-sided defender attacked so much it may as well have been a back three. I thought he played well, and had an assist disallowed when his nod on to Saints striker Benji Kimpioka was adjudged offside by VAR.

Always thought Kimpioka had something about him. Good to see the now 24 year old scoring a few north of the border.

I even saw him in those final few games of the Covid season.  He does look very energetic and strong up front. Exactly what we could do with now... |
