Angus MacDonald (70 appearances and 3 goals from 2012 to 2016 including a loan period) is now playing for Aberdeen in the Scottish Premier League. On Thursday he scored an absolute screamer in The Dons' 2-2 draw away at HJK Helsinki in the Europa Conference League. Great frank and open (and long!) interview here with Adam Murray who apparently had a short stint at Torquay under Ian Atkins in 2006. It wasn't a good time at Plainmoor: we were 9th when he arrived and 24th when he left. In his 21 league appearances the team failed to score in 13 of them. Not his fault necessarily but as a midfielder I think I was expecting him to provide a bit more than he did... That said, of the 39 players who started a league game that season he was by no means the worst. Edit: in the middle of his spell at Plainmoor, Atkins was replaced by Luboš Kubík which is a greater reason why we plummeted down the table and lost our League status at the end of that season...  |

OK, it did (very briefly) cross my mind that it might be comments being passed among those who are despairing of a certain outrageous bombardment currently in progress.
