If we are going to break the sequence of three draws with a win then we are going to have to play well at our former league rivals with the Carayol transfer incident being a recent connection!
We travel for 265 miles and five hours to Lincoln without the services of the suspended Bowman and injuries to Benyon and Harding and even Yeoman is touch and go with a rib injury. No problems in centre mid with Richards slotting in well there recently and Wakefield being mooted to play. So what does it mean up front? Well, Ofori-Acheampong will start with a possible trio of options IMO. First, Ajala could continue to support him there. Second, Briscoe could provide the support or finally Chris could drop the 442 and play three central midfielders as Wakefield can play in the defensive or attacking role. Yeoman will be an option from the bench only I feel. In defence, still would like to see Pearce play but will be tough on either Downes or MacDonald.
Lincoln have had a very good start to their campaign with 10 points from their first five games, only losing narrowly away to league leaders Halifax 3-2 and then only after Bencherif was sent off and will be suspended for our game. Thankfully, he is their top scorer with three, finding the net in the last two games. New signing and former Stevenage striker Jordan Burrow has also scored a couple. A good result here could kick start our season....

A good result here could kick start our season.... Our season starts in August 2015 when the players CH wants to go will have gone. If we get promoted this season I'm buying Jon a curry and if we don't he'll be buying me one. |

A good result here could kick start our season.... A surprise win at Sincil Bank followed by an 'easy' home fixture against Nuneaton could well turn things around. But I won't be putting any money on it. |

Woo Hoo, I'm going to this one! Have waited ages for this fixture. Of course had hoped that Lincoln would get promoted other than us going down. Still, if mo won't go to the mountain and all that. Had invited my old mate HullGull to join me but he's somewhat ill it seems! Still, when I get to his age i'll probably be ill as well. In truth, I wasn't really bothered if he came, I just wanted to have another look at his lovely wife!
If anyone would like to buy me a pint and have a chat, I can be found in the bar at the away end of the ground...if it's still there. I'll be wearing the white and blue shirt when we were promoted out of the conference the last time, it's pretty easy to spot because I don't have any sponsors logo on it! Nice friendly club and supporters (at least they were last time) unlike their knuckle dragging cousins up the road!
I think it's high time we played Pearce! I'm sure I read somewhere that he didn't want to play non-league football...well, that wish has come true then! I think we need to play him anyway, otherwise the best player we have at the club will be on his bike!
Score wise: we have to convert some of our chances sometime don't we? If Pearce plays 1:0 to the good guys...if not, 2:0 to the bad guys! |

Morning all..........not a happy hullgull today....my other team hull kr got nilled by our neighbours hull fc....my mrs supports them so I am getting a lot of stick already today.....grrrrrr del come ere and sort her will you mate......right enough bout that......going for. 3 points today,to continue our unbeaten run.....hope Pearce does start today though.....so come on you you gulls...and a good boy register....lol,.....si
