link - bit of news about the squad today at the end of the Hawley article- Ives is in Northern Ireland with the under 19 squad. No doubt Cruise will be looking to add to his three consecutive clean sheets. The Irish FA site shows that Northern Ireland U19s are playing Iceland twice this week on Wednesday and Friday. There's also a four-team qualifying group (played over the course of a few days) for the European U19 championships either side of the Alfreton game in October. I'd imagine that, subject to progress and performance, Levi Ives may be considered for Northern Ireland U21s fairly soon. That would depend on who they've got between eighteen and twenty-one in his position(s). I believe he played as more of a winger in the recent Milk Cup. Hopefully he won't be considered for the U21s too soon because they're playing the night we're at Chester. A "will he, won't he" few days. First we read he was suspended for Lincoln; then he wasn't; now he's not available anyway. Come 3pm I'm still half-expecting he'll be starting for us after all. Or transferred to Real Madrid for 95 million Euros. Or gone to Plymouth Argyle on a technicality for bugger all. At a time we've not got much to discuss the lad certainly appears to be the major talking point. The most-discused Levi Ives, indeed, since an American bishop of the same name converted to Catholicism in 1852.

Another miss!!! I remember my best days playing for Chelston in the 60/70´s, Harry Smith would go mad on the touchline if a shot wasn´t on target. Does anybody know if Harry is still alive?

Just back in, sounds like an eventful first period. Nice to see Acheampong get off the mark! Can we press our advantage home?

Another red card affects a game involving us but this time we're not the ones with our backs to the wall. Great chance to improve our goal difference now. COYG!
