Even more tiresome than 10 posts in a row having a go the same person? I love the way that in the last 12 months I've gone from being criticised for being relentlessly positive to being criticised for being relentlessly negative. Hilarious you got yourself a stalker jamesb

Butter or sweet? Must admit I prefer the former. I'll come and join you if it is Sorry James, but you belong to the half of the human race that will never be allowed to share my popcorn.

You serious? What is he 8 years old? That's about as pathetic as having a dig at the club for not signing a striker on loan that hasn't scored for a year. James negatively snivels on week after week, essay after essay after feckin' essay, most of it completely ignoring the facts that we're a tiny club with 2k crowds at the arse end of the country doing pretty well - to say he can be tiresome is understating it....he puts it out there, he should be prepared to take the flack. I suspect he's thoroughly embarrassed that you posted that.....or maybe not perhaps. I'm serious big time mate. to say it been a pleasure without you is an understatement. now go and creap back under that rock that you have been frequenting for so long enjoy picking on people? try picking on me, someone your own size and age Threats from the safety of your keyboard, the other end of the country.....that's also a bit embarrassing to be honest don't you think? Have I really made 10 posts on the trot about your lad? He must write a lot of guff..... There's nothing wrong with sticking up for your kids - I have 3 of my own, although I tend to let them fight their own battles if they have to. "Go and crawl back under a rock" "Pick on someone your own size" ;D You really are a bit of a fool aren't you, getting so hot under the collar about a football forum.

i have stayed quiet for the last couple of weeks but back off!! you have targeted James for your comments alot and now you can stop. So it is you sir, who needs to "get a life" You serious? James negatively snivels on week after week, essay after essay after feckin' essay, most of it completely ignoring the facts that we're a tiny club with 2k crowds at the arse end of the country doing pretty well - to say he can be tiresome is understating it....he puts it out there, he should be prepared to take the flack. I suspect he's thoroughly embarrassed that you posted that.....or maybe not perhaps. JmGull, You just need to tone it down a bit on here mate. Whether his point of view grates or not, it is something that many do agree with on here and as always, you just need to stop when making your good points without the added digs. Thanks Rob

Not getting hot under the collar about a football forum but just one individual. Not threatening from behind a keyboard from the other end of the country as i am regularly available in the Popside Be more constructive than just calling people names

Many thanks for your match report Nick and for all the other posts that have related to today's match. I have to say I'm rather disappointed that this thread has broken down in the way it has, I can't remember the last time this has happened on the TFF.
I'm not here to take sides and it is something I won't do, all I will say is every member is entitled to hold an opinion and it might be different from the one we hold.
It is the TFF way to argue the points we disagree with, it may well end up the case that nothing can be agreed on. Lets please keep it friendly we are all on the same side in the end.

you got yourself a stalker jamesb Not another one!? Meh, I'm used to it. Most people here know I'm on a bit of a downer at the moment about the club but at the same time also know I give out praise when it's due, as indeed I did in the same post that jmgull chose to pick on this latest time. A point in Oxford is a good result, especially in the circumstances, although I must admit I was expecting our usual inconsistency bounce - winning and losing when no one expects it If you want positive thoughts, I've got plenty. I'll put my name down on the list of those glad Ricey got his chance today. A genuine good guy who could easily have chosen to stay at Truro for football (though he might have found himself superseded by a certain ex-con come November 2012) but accepted the offer of coming back to sit on the bench for not an awful lot of money. In fairness, I think all our players and staff are good blokes, and that's certainly something I wouldn't criticise them for, which is more than can be said about certain other clubs in the division who may or may not have lost 5-0 to Dagenham today (teehee) Also I would add that Jarvis' last start was against Yeovil where we had no trouble scoring so I don't necessarily think he's the problem. You can look at that in two ways - either you can take the positive route and say that suggests Jarvis isn't that bad (and I don't think he is a bad player - he's just no Rene, which in most circumstances isn't a problem, but it just so happens that he's not someone who can make an impact off the bench or a natural replacement for Rene as lone front man; he was useful last season because we had him, Rene AND Atieno, whereas now we have Yeoman who I agree looks more of a Benefield than a Sharpe), or you can take the negative route and say that we're in a bit of a sticky situation regarding scoring goals at the moment But we will eventually score, and we will keep more clean sheets. We've just got to make sure that they coincide a few times. Lately we haven't looked like doing so. Last year I wasn't so bothered by us grinding out 1-0 wins - the Swindon home game was fantastic last season - but I think there's a subtle difference this year With this being such a terrible division at the moment, it is definitely within our own hands to mount a promotion push. The players we have now are capable. But as someone (can't remember who) said recently, this is a key moment for testing the club's ambition - do we actually want to get promoted or are we happy treading water, for now at least? As was the case last year, this will be the last chance for 2 or 3 of our players to get promoted at Torquay, because it's looking increasingly likely that they won't be around next season for one reason or another, and then you're relying on more rabbits and more hats for the following season - and it would suddenly look like we were permanently in transition, like a slightly more defensively secure Arsenal It's a horrible cliché that usually makes no sense at all, but, to a certain extent, promotion from League Two will come down to who wants it more this season haha you know whats coming next

haha you know whats coming next Oh, I seem to have posted more than 6 lines. Guess that overwrites the positivity then - guess I'm still a cock ;D Honestly, I've been on internet forums for 7 years so I've got used to the whole criticism thing, because it happens so often. Sometimes you just can't win - posts are too long, or posts are too short; posts are too subjective, or posts are too objective; posts are too negative, or posts are too positive; posts are too biased, or posts are too neutral; posts too many pictures, or posts too much text; posts have too many paragraphs, or posts don't have enough paragraphs...etc When it gets to that point, you have a choice - either defend yourself, ignore it or switch off. Usually I defend myself because I love my opinions too much, but it depends on who it is that's criticising. But the key is not to take it seriously. I've seen people here and elsewhere take internet forums far too seriously. There's no point - it doesn't matter
