Breakfast report?
Well, let's hope for another FA Cup trip to Sheffield this season because I'm sure breakfast at the Endcliffe Park cafe would go down well with a number of people on this forum.
Wildebeeste went for the healthy vegetarian option; myself for the full vegetarian (although the full English was also available). Actually there was a "full full" option too. So remember there's Chesterfield coming up soon and it's not too big a detour.
And, today, my breakfast was served with a copy of last week's Herald Express supplied by Wildebeeste. At one stage it got mixed up with the cafe's supply of newspapers much to the confusion of other customers searching for the Observer.
If there's to be a TFF breakfast I've heard good reports about the Cliff Railway cafe. I hope to be down for the Exeter game in December if anyone is interested.

If that was the case poor old Wildebeeste would be in for a hard time when we meet for breakfast at Endcliffe Park. Nice summary Barts! Will there be a breakfast report as well! ;D I suspect that there will be a TFF pre match breakfast as well at some point this season. No worries, folks. Barton was in his usual good humour this morning, over a plateful of grub, although he tells me Jon would have considered the Endcliffe full veggie breakfast a mere snack. Anyone like to experience hospitality at my house in two weeks' time, when it's the day of the Big One, just drop me a message. I make the best coffee in town, I promise. Alternatively, if you need directions to the pub, chip shop, bus stop etc feel free to ask. Till then, all the best.

Thanks Barts, I will pencil that date in, knowing a few members on here, could be a fair bit of interest...

Well i did witness the game yesterday and i think the reports on here say it all really. The defence did look shocking at times and it would have been daylight robbery if Bodin had scored wiyh that chance. I cant believe what im reading on here tho, with comments such as, a promising season could turn into a fight for our lives !, we must sign another forward before the season fizzles out completely ! FFS lads, save those sort of posts till next March at the earliest surely. I shudder to think the reaction on here next Sunday morning if we lose these next two. Anyway at least we had an enjoyable journey and the trains were on time.

Good comments Barton, pretty well my thoughts too. After 50 years or so of following the Gulls mainly away from home you never expect too much but always hope and always enjoy the experience. Regular away wins as at Macc and Morecambe last year tend to be the exception and all the more enjoyable for it. From the fantastic turnaround at Bury a couple of years back to Mark Gardner's late winner at Bolton that gave us the double over them back in the old div 4 they last long in the memory. I have faith in this squad and in Ling. If they come good we will probably lose players again and start all over again, that's our life as a great little club run on a shoestring. My dream is of a couple of good seasons that see us at least try the Championship for one season - you never know ! By the way Barton, parked up at the Kelham on Friday but son-in-law whisked me off to the Shakespeare - another of the many good boozers in Sheffield. Can't now make it to Chesterfield but next stop York.
